Travis and Jason Kelce tease next podcast guest and people are convinced history is about to be made

Fans have been theorising on who the 'very special guest' could be

The rumour mill has plunged into overdrive after Travis and Jason Kelce teased a special guest on their New Heights podcast - and fans are convinced the appearance is going to make history.

Travis Kelce, 35, and his older brother Jason, 37, have been co-hosting the sports podcast since September 2022.

The pair primarily use their platform to discuss NFL plays and previously dissected each other’s performances when Jason was still playing for the Philadelphia Eagles.

New Heights has previously seen spikes when the brothers played each other in the Super Bowl, and with Travis dropping details of his relationship with pop mega star Taylor Swift, 35.

The couple, who began dating in the summer of 2023, have supported each other publicly - with the ‘Bad Blood’ hitmaker attending various Kansas City Chiefs games and Travis appearing on stage during The Eras Tour in London.

The last few episodes of New Heights have been compilation ‘Best Offs’, featuring conversations with celebrities such as Ben Stiller, Bill Murray and Will Ferrell.

However, ahead of Wednesday’s episode (13 August), the official New Heights X account has teased a ‘very special guest’ is going to be on a brand new episode of the pod.

“92%ers, we’re coming back early for a special episode with a VERY special guest,” the teaser said.

“New episodes Wednesday 7pm ET.”

The teaser image features both Travis and Justin, as well as a black silhouette of what appears to be a woman - and fans are convinced it’s going to be Taylor.

“Is it her?? is it finally her???” typed one social media user.

“She’s coming,” a second replied, followed by a GIF of the star on stage.

A third replied: “WAIT THIS WILL BE OUR FIRST TIME SEEING THEM ON SCREEN TOGETHER IN AN INTERVIEW.”

The latter commenter is correct - if the New Heights guest is indeed Taylor, then it will be the first time she and Travis have completed an interview together.

Additionally, it would mark the first time the 14-time Grammy winner has ever done a public joint interview with any boyfriend, past or present. Exciting, right?

Taylor Swift New Heights fan theories explained

While people have already predicted it’s Taylor just through looking at the silhouette, others have looked deeper into the teaser to solidify their thoughts.

One user noticed that New Heights usually uses yellow thumbnails to signify episodes featuring guests, whereas this one is glittery orange.

Fans believe this correlates to a recent post by Taylor Nation, which included four pictures of the star wearing orange on her Eras Tour.

“Thinking about when she said ‘See you next era’,” the post read.

The Taylor Nation post was made at 8.13am, with the podcast being released on 8/13 when the date is Americanised.

Taylor’s favourite number is famously 13, meaning the coordinated times and dates could be a hint that her 12th studio album is on the way.

Adding more fuel to the fire, the eagle-eyed fan spotted that the Taylor Nation and New Heights posts were shared 12 minutes apart - potentially providing a nod to TS12.

Of course, this could all just be a coincidence.

We’ll have to wait and see whether Taylor makes history when the New Heights episode drops on Wednesday.
