Paris Jackson has previously aired her thoughts on the new music biopic about her famous father, Michael Jackson, revealing exactly why she doesn’t appear in it.
The 28-year-old model, who was born to the King of Pop and his second wife, American musician Debbie Rowe, 67, followed in the footsteps of her aunt, Janet Jackson, by skipping out on the Hollywood premiere of Michael earlier this month.
The biopic, directed by Antoine Fuqua, covers the ‘Bille Jean’ hitmaker’s life from the 1960s with the Jackson 5 up until the Bad tour of the late 1980s.
Michael, starring his nephew Jaafar Jackson, 29, in the titular role, went through extensive reshoots due to a clause discovered in a legal settlement referring to the 1993 child sexual abuse allegations against the ‘Dirty Diana’ star.

Due to the heavy revision of the third act, which was originally going to cover the investigation, and the fact that Paris was not born until 1998, neither she nor her brothers, Prince, 29, and Bigi, 24, feature in the flick.
In September, Paris disengaged herself from the ‘dishonest’ film, claiming that she had ‘0 percent involvement’.
The comment came after Euphoria’s Colman Domingo, who plays Jackson family patriarch Joe, said that the musician and her younger sibling Prince had been ‘very supportive of the film.
“[Colman], don’t be telling people I was ‘helpful’ on the set of a movie I had 0% involvement in lol. That is so weird,” Paris fired back.
“I read one of the first drafts of the script and gave my notes about what was dishonest [and] didn’t sit right with me and when they didn’t address it I moved on with my life,” she wrote. “Not my monkeys, not my circus. God bless and godspeed.”
In a follow-up video shared via her Instagram Stories, the actress continued: “I wasn’t involved at all, aside from giving feedback on the first draft and then getting the feedback that [production] was not actually going to address your notes at all. So I just butted out and left it alone because it’s not my project.”
She claimed filmmakers would make ‘whatever they’re going to make’ and that the project would most likely appease her dad’s diehard fans.
“A big reason why I haven’t said anything up until this point is because I know a lot of you guys are gonna be happy with it. A big section of the film panders to a very specific section of my dad’s fandom that still lives in the fantasy, and they’re gonna be happy with it.”
Like her niece, Janet, 59, doesn’t appear in Michael - and her sister La Toya Jackson, 69, has revealed why.
In an interview with Variety on the red carpet, the singer-songwriter said: “I wish everybody was in the movie. She was asked and she kindly declined, so you have to respect her wishes.”

Michael opened at the UK box office on Wednesday (23 April). It currently has a solid 96 percent Popcornmeter rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
Letterboxd users have awarded it a 3.6 star rating, with many users praising Jafaar’s portrayal of his uncle.
“The person who said ‘Only a Jackson can play Michael Jackson’ was absolutley right,” commented one film fan.
A second typed: “Had to remind myself this wasn’t Michael. Jaafar really outdid himself.”
Another added: “This movie is everything I could’ve dreamed of.”
