One Tree Hill fans have hailed Hilarie Burton Morgan as a ‘queen’ after she posted a selfie showing off her new look.
Hilarie, 41, is best known for starring as blonde cheerleader Peyton Sawyer on the first six seasons of One Tree Hill.
The nine-series show, created by Mark Schwahn, first aired in 2003 and initially followed the lives of half-brothers Lucas (Chad Michael Murray) and Nathan Scott (James Lafferty).
Fans of the teen TV programme will remember iconic storylines featuring Peyton, such as having a fling with Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz and discovering that her brother ‘Derek’ was actually an obsessed stalker named Ian Banks.

Elsewhere, Peyton helped run the all-ages nightclub, Tric, and later became the mother of Sawyer Scott with her husband, Lucas.
However, in May 2009, fans were left heartbroken when executives confirmed that Hilarie and Chad, 41, had declined to return to the long-running series.
Following her exit, the Virginia native has continued acting and has starred in the likes of White Collar, Grey’s Anatomy and Lethal Weapon.
In 2021, the mum-of-two reunited with her fellow One Tree Hill co-stars Bethany Joy Lenz and Sophia Bush to begin fronting the Drama Queens podcast.
The show sees the three women rewatching each episode of OTH together before offering listeners analysis, behind-the-scenes anecdotes and gossip.
As well as fronting the Drama Queens podcast, Hilarie is an author and mum to two children - Augustus and George - whom she shares with Walking Dead star Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
Last week, Hilarie revealed that she’d been out on a ‘hot date’ with her 57-year-old husband and posted a selfie to mark the occasion.
In the picture, Hilarie was sporting long silver locks as she pouted in the mirror.
She shared the image with her 1.8 million Instagram followers alongside the caption: “Hair down. Shoes off. Bedtime for this gal. Thanks for the hot date @jeffreydeanmorgan! Always always always proud of you. Happy Upfronts @amc_tv.
“Big kisses to @virginialinzee and @thedavidcruz for cleaning me up after the drive down from the farm. It takes a village. Xoxoxox”
Fans were quick to flock to the post’s comments section to discuss Hilarie’s voluminous hair, with one writing: “You and your gorgeous hair are EVERYTHING!!”
A second commented: “It’s the hair for me!!!”
“You just keep getting prettier,” replied another. “Been amazing to watch for the past 21 years Hil!”
A fourth typed: “Looking sensational darling girl!”
A fellow Instagram user wrote: “GODDESS!! HAIR FREAKIN GOALS!!!”
