A lengthy list of the most disliked A-listers of 2025 went viral upon its release last week - and let's just say, it's pretty problematic.
The collection was gathered by editors at Ranked, who allowed their readers to vote online for the stars they deemed to be particularly difficult.
Based entirely on public opinion, the list features some of the biggest names in Hollywood who, for one reason or another, are said to have 'fallen from grace' over the last 12 months.
In many cases, these individuals were linked to scandalous or even criminal behaviour. In other cases, those named are simply characters that a lot of people seem to find somewhat jarring.

In the No. 1 most disliked position last year was Sean 'Diddy' Combs, who was found guilty last year of transporting individuals across state lines for the purpose of prostitution, and sentenced to over four years in prison.

The No. 2 slot went to Bill Cosby, who seems to be continuing on his downward sexual assault conviction spiral, whilst Chris Brown and his history of domestic violence fell into No. 3.
People generally express dislike for YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul, who fell into slot No. 4, due to his long history of controversies and legal and ethical misconduct allegations, whilst Kanye West likely fell into fifth position because of his sporadic and often-hateful online rants, as well as his anti-semitic rhetoric.
Also appearing in the top 25 were Danny Masterson, who was convicted in 2023 of raping two women and sentenced to 30 years to life in prison, and Andrew Tate, a self-confessed extreme misogynist who boasts an array of criminal charges.

The man formerly known as Prince Andrew also received a special mention, after his royal title was stripped last year in light of damning new revelations over his relationship with sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Interestingly, however, the list also featured television presenter Ellen DeGeneres, who came in at No. 11 due to her... what exactly did she do, again?
Oh, and Kim Kardashian also made an appearance in the list, likely because of... erm... any help?
Well, surely, the world must have some dirt on the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, given that they've placed her in No. 22?
Ok, we get it. Their accents could be seen as grating, and their extreme wealth is probably something we can all be envious of.

But as several online individuals have bravely pointed out, the pattern exhibited by the list seems to support the idea that women - celebrity or otherwise - are ceaselessly being held to higher moral standards compared to men.
It implies that all a woman needs to do is speak her mind, voice her political views - basically, be entirely herself - to be 'disliked' to the same degree as convicted sex offenders, domestic abusers, and self-confessed anti-semites.
Voicing this exact take, one social media user pointed out: "The men on this list are literally abusers and criminals, whilst the women on this list are slightly annoying, or maybe, like, a little mean.
"But you cannot compared those."

Taking to the comments, another agreed, claiming: "It's nothing new. Do y'all remember when Amber Heard was selected as the most disliked person of the year over Putin and Trump?
"All that woman did was protecting herself against her abuser [Johnny Depp]."
While a third hit out: "Society is just misogynistic."
"The fact Ellen and Meghan are up there with Diddy is actually laughable like wtf," a fourth heartbroken user continued. "'Unlikeable' women with a legit sex offender is crazy work."
