Back in the late 2000s, Miley Cyrus ended up living out her very own rom-com after finding love on the set of a movie.
She met actor Liam Hemsworth in 2009 on the set of Nicholas Sparks adaptation The Last Song, which was released the year after, and things soon bloomed into romance.
The pair confirmed what would be a fairly on-off relationship after they were pictured sharing a kiss at the airport, going on to first get engaged in 2012.

After calling it quits, they rekindled things and eventually tied the knot in 2018 at a private ceremony in Nashville.
However, the celebrity pairing wasn’t to be, announcing their separation just one year later before their divorce was finalised in 2020.
Miley has since entered a new relationship with Maxx Morando, her boyfriend of more than two years and now a collaborator on her forthcoming album Something Beautiful.
It turns out this is no coincidence, as the singer pointed out one key connection between her relationships.
In a new interview with Harper’s Bazaar, she spoke of how working with her dad Billy Ray Cyrus on The Last Song has impacted professional and romantic partnerships since.
“I worked with my dad forever," Miley, 32, said.
"That’s how me and my ex-husband met each other. I’ve always worked with the people that I love. And Maxx just inspires me so much."
She’d been eager to explore creativity with Maxx, 26 - who is also in the band Lilly – for her ‘hypnotizing and glamorous’ new project.
"It’s a concept album that’s an attempt to medicate somewhat of a sick culture through music," Miley continued.
"The visual component of this is driving the sound. It was important for me that every song has these healing sound properties."
That brief but poignant comment about Liam was all she had to say about her ex.
However, in the past, she’s spoken a little more extensively about their breakup.
In a TikTok video last year, she opened up about the moment she knew it was over, saying: “The day of the [Glastonbury] show was the day I had decided it was no longer going to work in my life to be in that relationship.
"That was another moment where the work, the performance, the character came first.
"And I guess now that's why it's so important to me for me to not be the case [anymore].
"The human comes first."
In another clip, the 'Flowers' singer also recalled when the two first met: "I think one of the elements that made that movie feel so special was it was watching two very young people fall in love with each other, which was happening in real time and real life.
"So, the chemistry was undeniable and that was the beginning of a long, 10-year relationship."
