Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth divorced in 2020.

Miley Cyrus knew her marriage to Liam Hemsworth was over when she stepped on stage at Glastonbury 2019.

Watch her candidly open up about the situation below:

The pop star, 30, has been spilling all the beans in her TikTok series promoting new track 'Used to Be Young' and fans have been soaking up all the goss.

This week we got to learn about Miley and Liam - who had been together since 2010 - and got married in December 2018.

They first met in 2009 on the set of The Last Song and, a year later, confirmed their relationship after they were pictured sharing a romantic kiss at the airport.

Their on-and-off relationship eventually stayed 'on' and Liam proposed to Miley in 2012 with a 3.5-carat ring.

"I'm so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam," Cyrus told People at the time.

Sadly for the 'Liley' or 'Miam' fans, the couple called it quits and divorced in 2020.

Opening up on when she knew it was over, Miley said: "The day of the [Glastonbury] show was the day I had decided it was no longer going to work in my life to be in that relationship.

"That was another moment where the work, the performance, the character came first.

"And I guess now that's why it's so important to me for me to not be the case [anymore].

"The human comes first."

In another clip, the 'Flowers' singer recalled when the two first met: "I think one of the elements that made that movie feel so special was it was watching two very young people fall in love with each other, which was happening in real time and real life.

"So, the chemistry was undeniable and that was the beginning of a long, 10-year relationship."

But months after the divorce, Cyrus told the Joe Rogan Experience podcast: "What really sucked about it wasn't the fact that me and someone that I loved realized that we don't love each other the way that we used to anymore.

"That's OK. I can accept that. I can't accept the villainizing and just all those stories."

"Miley is relieved that she and Liam reached an agreement when it comes to the divorce," a Cyrus source told People two days after the settlement. "She just wants to move on."
