Country star Billy Ray Cyrus has made a rare comment about his daughter, singer Miley Cyrus.
31-year-old Miley was thought to have snubbed her dad Billy Ray after her Grammy win in February, perhaps lending to him getting married not long after divorcing her mum, Tish.
62-year-old Billy Ray married 35-year-old musician Firerose following almost 30 years of marriage to Tish.
However, the pair have since split following reports that Billy Ray has filed for divorce, citing 'irreconcilable differences' and 'inappropriate marital conduct' in his filing.

He is also seeking an annulment, as he states the 'consent to marriage was obtained by fraud'.
The date of their separation is reportedly listed as 22 May.
Despite all of the relationship drama, Billy Ray made a quip about daughter Miley just a few days ago.
On 7 June, the 'Old Town Road' hitmaker shared a throwback of him alongside his daughter Miley at CMA Fest, formerly known as Fan Fair.
As well as the picture there were two were scraps of paper.
Billy Ray explained that they contained a poem he'd written after experiencing the festival.
He captioned the post: "One of my best memories ever: @cma Fest, back when it was Fan Fair.
"That's @mileycyrus and me, surrounded by thousands of incredible fans at the fairgrounds.
"The next day, someone handed me this picture, and I wrote that poem right then on the bus. I’m incredibly proud of her. She's a survivor and a true artist.
"She learned early on to love and appreciate the fans who make everything possible.
"We both cherish the connection we have with our fans and are grateful for every single one of you! Hope you all have a great Friday! Now rock the country!!!"
As well as Miley, Billy Ray and Tish share Braison, 30 and Noah, 24, together. He also adopted two of Tish’s children from a previous relationship - Brandi, 37 and Trace, 35.
Rumours of a rift between the family emerged when Miley was not shown to be in attendance of Billy Ray and Firerose's wedding - but was in attendance for the wedding between her mum Tish and Prison Break star Dominic Purcell.
Fuel was added to the fire when Miley failed to mention Billy Ray in her Grammy acceptance speech but thanked Tish.
Miley went on to upload a post-win Instagram snap from the star-studded ceremony, once again thanking all of her biggest supporters while pointedly neglecting her dad again.
Following Billy Ray's Instagram post, fans fled to the comments to share their opinions.
One person wrote: "I hope she forgives you and you can build a healthy relationship after all."
Another said: "I really hope the Cyrus family can find their way back to each other because they were very close."
While a third chimed: "I really hope you tell this to her personally after all she deserves it."
