The festivities of the Met Gala red carpet may have come and gone, but it's not stopped fans banging on about all their favourite behind-the-scenes moments.

And the latest celebrity buzz has seen fans spot the same hilarious detail in a video of Sabrina Carpenter, 24, and Barry Keoghan, 31, kissing for the first time.

The pair have been spotted together on multiple occasions now, including at the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty, which saw the Irish actor wear a piece of jewellery in tribute of her, also seemingly confirming the relationship.

Sabrina and Barry rocked up to the famous The Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday (6 May) and posed for the paparazzi in their stunning ensembles for the 'The Garden of Time' theme.

Vogue later shared a clip of the pair getting ready for the prestigious fashion event to its Instagram story and one particular details from the clip clearly caught the attention of hawk-eyed fans.

The video saw Barry walk into the room Sabrina was getting ready in and hugging her.

He then tried to give her a smooch prompting the 'Espresso' singer to swerve it and playfully push him away while telling him: "Let me see the hat on. Let me see it!"

Barry, obliging, popped his top hat on while saying to the camera: "What's up Vogue!"

The pair then thanked Vogue and said their goodbyes.

The footage has since made its rounds on social media with one person screen-recording the Instagram story and putting it on X.

They captioned the clip: "The way he went in for a kiss but got pushed away."

People have since rushed in to share their reactions to the clip with one Twitter user writing: "You can see his face falling apart."

A second quipped: "She said not on CAMERA!!"

"She tryna keep it lowkey," claimed a third, while a fourth chimed in: "Girl ain't letting them film it."

A fifth sympathised: "We need justice for this guy."

"2nd hand embarrassment," admitted a sixth while another penned: "Girly was NOT letting them get that footage."

A seventh defended: "She probably didn't notice and you can see she wanted to take a good look at his outfit."

"Lmao not when she just got the fresh lip gloss on please," joked an eighth.

And a final X user wondered: "Maybe she doesn’t want her make-up to be ruined."
