A Great British reunion is said to have occurred in the States earlier this week, with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex having invited Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz over for dinner.
Apparently, however, the rumoured get-together hasn't gone down too well with the high profile families.
26-year-old Brooklyn and 40-year-old Harry have rather a lot in common, having both been born in the UK before heading to America to set up shop with their US-born other-halves.

Model, photographer and amateur chef Brooklyn - the son of football legend David and Spice Girls star Victoria Beckham - married New York actress Nicola, 30, in 2022.
The couple are said to split their time between London and Los Angeles.
Prince Harry, meanwhile, resigned from his royal duties back in 2020 - two years after he and Suits actress Meghan Markle, 40, wed at St. George's Chapel - after which the pair moved to Montecito, California, where they live with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

And according to People Magazine, Brooklyn and Nicola attended a group dinner held at the Sussex's home.
An inside source allegedly told the publication: "While it was an intimate gathering, there were several additional guests, including VIPs and film executives. Brooklyn and Nicola had a wonderful time and found Harry and Meghan to be particularly kind, caring and generous."
According to The Sun, however, the star-studded soiree is said to have caused some tensions within the Beckham family, being that it closely followed David's 50th birthday celebration.
The sportsman's eldest son and daughter-in-law reportedly opted not to attend the festivities, after which they faced some backlash from fans.
In the comments of a series of celebratory snaps that David shared on Instagram: "Too bad Brooklyn and his pretty wife did not attend Dads 50th!"

While another went on: "Where is Brooklyn Peltz ?"
Another source told the news outlet that the dinner invite was 'unexpected', but 'gratefully received' by the couple, who 'both feel pretty battle-wounded', adding: "Harry and Meghan were very empathetic and very kind to them both."
They continued to claim that The Duke was 'fully aware of the situation' and had offered Brooklyn his 'unwavering support as someone who has been through similar'.

In a recent interview with the BBC, Prince Harry addressed his want for a 'reconciliation with my family', adding that his father, King Charles III 'won't speak' to him as a result of his disagreement over his security entitlement, which he lost an appeal for.
Meanwhile, Meghan and Nicole also had a 'bit of a 'deep n' meaningful' due to their perceived media perception as 'home-wreckers', the source continued.
Adding of the Duchess' supposed approach to Nicole, the insider went on to say: "Meghan had a lot of sympathy for her, and said there was shared common ground.
"They didn’t meet in relation to recent developments and headlines, but it was an honest but very welcome coincidence."

The final sentiment was also seconded by PEOPLE's insider, who added: "Brooklyn and Nicola were invited prior to David’s numerous global birthday galas, so the timing is pure coincidence."
