After Brooklyn Beckham last night dropped a series of social media bombshells about his parents, questions have been raised over the allegations surrounding wife Nicola's wedding dress.
Taking to Instagram last night (19 Jan), the 26-year-old confirmed a long-rumoured feud with his family with a lengthy statement, claiming he 'does not want to reconcile' with father David or mother Victoria.
His update was shared weeks after 20-year-old Cruz claimed Brooklyn had blocked the entire brood on Instagram, after the A-list couple were accused of making the first move. "NOT TRUE. My mum and dad would never unfollow their son," Cruz sensationally hit out on Instagram in December. "Let's get the facts right. They woke up blocked … as did I."
Brooklyn was later said to have sought legal advice on the matter, and had reportedly issued a cease and desist letter, warning his family only to reach out to them through his legal representatives.

Last night, he confirmed that all these rumours were true, claiming he's 'been silent for years' on his 'controlling' family dynamic in an attempt to keep strife to a minimum.
"Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed," he began.
"I do not want to reconcile with my family. I'm not being controlled, I'm standing up for myself for the first time in my life."

Among the many shocking accusations that Brooklyn dropped last night was one surrounding his and Nicola's 2022 wedding.
The amateur chef firstly accused his family of 'trying endlessly to ruin' his relationship with the American actress, claiming tensions first arose ahead of their wedding, for which Victoria had reportedly promised to design her dress.
You know, being a fashion designer and all.
As a reminder, the couple tied the knot at tone of the Peltz family's many deluxe Palm Beach estates.

Nicola, 31, wore a custom Valentino Haute Couture gown, telling Vogue at the time that siding with the Italian fashion brand was a 'no brainer'.
Of allegations she'd snubbed her mother-in-law, Nicola told Variety after the wedding: "I was going to [wear Victoria Beckham] and I really wanted to, and then a few months down the line, she realised that her atelier couldn't do it, so then I had to pick another dress.
"She didn't say you can't wear it; I didn't say I didn't want to wear it. That's where it started, and then they ran with that."

According to Brooklyn, however, there was much more to the story.
"My mum cancelled making Nicola's dress in the eleventh hour, despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress," he alleged.
This specific claim has been doing the rounds for some time, after an insider spoke out in 2024.
"Nicola was painted as a brat for not wearing Victoria Beckham at the wedding," the source told PEOPLE. "She'd gone to a ton of Victoria Beckham fashion shows and events in Victoria's clothing. She even wore Victoria Beckham to her Lola movie premiere."

Despite this, none of the Beckhams confirmed or denied this almighty rumour.
Brooklyn went several steps further whilst discussing his nuptials, claiming it wasn't just the dress drama that saw the former Spice Girl take over.
"During the wedding planning, my mum went so far as to call me 'evil' because Nicola and I chose to include my Nanny Sandra, and Nicola's Naunni at our table, because they both didn't have their husbands," Brooklyn continued. "Both of our parents had their own tables equally adjacent to ours.
"The night before our wedding, members of my family told me that Nicola was 'not blood and 'not family.'
"Since the moment I started standing up for myself with my family, I've received endless attacks from my parents, both privately and publicly, that were sent to the press on their orders."
Lastly, he claimed that ahead of the actual wedding, he claimed David and Victoria 'repeatedly' pressured him into signing away the rights to his name, believing this would have 'affected me, my wife, and our future children'.

"They were adamant on me signing before my wedding date because then the terms of the deal would be initiated," he went on. "My holdout affected the payday, and they have never treated me the same since."
On the day, Victoria was said to have 'hijacked' Brooklyn's first dance with his wife, 'which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song'.
The photographer continued: "In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead.
"She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I've never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life."
He added that the couple later decided to renew their vows, 'so we could create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment'.
