Kristen Bell reveals how she really feels about husband Dax Shepard ‘hooking up’ with other actors

Kristen Bell has revealed how she feels about her husband Dax Shepard being intimate with co-stars.

For actors, filming intimate scenes is part of the job, and with both Kristen and Dax being in the same industry, it's likely they've had to do their fair share of kissing scenes.

So how do they navigate watching their partner getting steamy on set?

Well, in a recent interview, the Frozen star explained it's all about trust and communication.

"Even if Dax hooks up with the most beautiful person in the world at work, I know he's committed to our family," she told E! News. "I know he's coming home. I know he loves our children. I know he strives to be a great husband and father."

Kristen explained that if either of them are feeling insecure, they have 'open communication'.

"We're just human, right?" she said.

"So maybe there could be a day where I'm like, 'I'm actually really nervous that you spend time with that person.' And he could say, 'Oh, OK, let's talk about it. What makes you nervous? What are you thinking?' We have a very open communication.

"We root for each other. When he got to make out with Minka Kelly on Parenthood, I was like, 'Yes. Get it.' We're married, we're not dead."

Kristen also spoke about her relationship with Nobody Wants This co-star Adam Brody - where she says Dax also knows there's nothing to worry about.

"Dax also knows there's no real threat there, because Adam and I, if you were to see us in person, there is not chemistry," she said.

"We bicker all the time. We're like an old granny and grampy. It's not hot and heavy on set at all."

The Netflix rom-com, starring Bell and Adam Brody, sky-rocketed straight to the top of the streaming platform's Top 10 list when it was released last year.

A lot of the series' success was the raw chemistry between Bell and Brody - something that's seemingly not gone unnoticed with Dax.

Speaking at the New Yorker Festival, Dax - who tied the knot with Bell in 2013 - opened up about the smooching scene from the series and interestingly absolutely loved it.

"My friend... we watched that scene together, the kissing scene, which I’d argue is the very best kissing scene ever, ever put on film." he said.

"And my best friend, Aaron, from childhood, he goes, 'Does she ever kiss you like that?' No, I didn’t even know she could kiss like that."
