Kim Kardashian breaks the internet with North West Halloween costume and it’s got fans noticing the same detail

It’s not even 31 October yet, and Kim Kardashian has already won Halloween.

The 46-year-old reality TV star broke the internet on Tuesday (20 October) when she posted her first costume of spooky season, dressing up as someone very close to home - her daughter, North West.

The 13-year-old, whom she shares with her ex Kanye West, has already become a public figure in her own right, after releasing her own music and performing her first-ever solo festival set earlier this year.

Kim and Kanye have faced some criticism, though, over her distinct look, including bright blue hair and a number of different piercings, which some critics see as too mature for her age or even cruelly label as ‘demonic’.

The Kardashians star has firmly shut down any negative comments around her daughter, though, in the best way possible - by becoming her.

Kim shared a slew of photos and videos to Instagram and TikTok, showing her completely transformed into North - grills and all.

The Skims founder rocked her daughter’s signature electric blue hair, long nails, piercings, and gothic style.

She really got into character and even posed in the way her daughter would, meaning at first glance, you might not even realise it’s Kim - and all fans are saying the same thing. They simply can’t get over how much she looks like North.

One fan penned: “They really do have the same face,” while a second agreed: “She really is her mom's twin.”

A third added: “They look identical, wow,” and a fourth chimed in with: “I couldn’t tell the difference omg you ate this.”

“Stop this is so tea, twins fr,” wrote a fifth, while a sixth quipped: “IM SHOOK I THOUGHT YOU WERE JUST POSTING YOUR DAUGHTER TWINS FORSURE.”

And a seventh wrote: “Took me 2 minutes to realise that it was Kimberly.”

Even Kim’s sister Khloé Kardashian took to the comments section to declare: “Twins!!!!!!”

Others simply praised Kim for publicly embracing her daughter’s look and shutting down any hate about her unique style.

One fan wrote: “We love to see a supportive motherrrr,” and a second agreed: “She basically said stop playing w her daughter.”

A third added: “I love this, more moms should be this way with their kids. This is so sweet & they both are so beautiful.”

And a fourth wrote: “Kim’s a great mom, love how supportive and involved she is, also she pulled this look off surprisingly.”

It comes after North was forced to shut down the troll claims that she looks ‘demonic’ during a recent TikTok livestream.

In a clip that’s done the rounds on X and was reported by PEOPLE, she said: “Stop saying I’m demonic. No, I’m not. Just because I like to dress this way, don’t judge a book by its cover.”

While Kim added: “Yeah, I feel like people say that because of the black grills and just, like, piercings and stuff.”

North responded: “But I don’t know why you guys should put that with demonic because I don’t get that,” to which Kim reassured: “I don’t think people really get it, but do you care?”
