While everyone's talking about Justin Bieber's lack of clothes when he took to the Grammys stage on Sunday (1 February), attention has now turned to a terse comment a lip reader believes he made to his wife Hailey on the red carpet.
At the awards ceremony, the 31-year-old Canadian hit-maker surprised fans with a performance of 'YUKON' wearing just his undies and a pair of socks, giving a whole new meaning to the term 'stripped back'.
The get-up sparked a huge discussion online, with many fans convinced they'd figured out the 'symbolic' reason behind it.
And, given his shirtless attire, fans were able to see a supposedly 'new tattoo' of his wife, Hailey Bieber, on his back. Once again, it left them seriously divided.

The cute couple, who tied the knot back in 2018 before welcoming their first child, Jack, in April 2024, enjoyed a number of sweet moments throughout the evening, but it didn't take long for viewers at home to speculate over specific interactions between the pair.
One of which included Bieber's alleged three-word comment to Hailey on the Grammys red carpet, which a lip reader has weighed in on.
For the occasion, 29-year-old Hailey stunned in a strapless black dress by Alaïa while her hubby, who was up for four awards at the annual ceremony, opted for a black suit by Balenciaga.
As Hailey posed for the paparazzi with her hand on her hip, she reached out for Bieber's arm, prompting him to shake her off and say something before walking away from her.
According to lip reader Nicola Hickling, who spoke exclusively to The Mirror about the viral interaction, the 'Baby' singer told his missus: "Don’t grab me."
The pair then stepped away from each other and posed for photos separately.
After some time, the Rhode founder moved closer to Bieber, and they held hands briefly before he led her further down the red carpet.
Now, this is all just speculation, but it's clear fans have been sent into a right spiral over the alleged comment.
"He is just not interested in being there," one X user speculated, while another theorised: "They just got into an argument probably."
Others, however, couldn't have disagreed more, with a third defending: "He hates red carpet events, and he hates the paps even more. He was not annoyed with Hailey because once they got inside, he was all smiles."
It's clear Bieber did very well this year at the Grammys with four nominations: Album of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album, Best Pop Solo Performance, and Best R&B Performance.
While he didn't take home any awards, his return to the spotlight seemingly marks a comeback for the fan-favourite.
