Ozzy Osbourne's rarely seen daughter joins mum Sharon at Grammys

Aimee Osbourne is the eldest child of the late Black Sabbath rocker and 'X Factor' judge Sharon

The long-awaited 2026 Grammy Awards finally kicked off last night (Sunday 1 February), with the biggest names in music flocking down to the Crypto.com Arena in downtown Los Angeles to celebrate this year's achievements.

Apparently, however, viewers observing red carpet arrivals from home were somewhat surprised to see one particular star making an appearance - Aimee Osbourne, the rarely-seen eldest daughter of late rocker, Ozzy.

The 42-year-old is the eldest child of the Black Sabbath frontman, who died back in July, aged 76, as a result of acute myocardial infarction, as well as both coronary artery and Parkinson’s disease.

Ozzy and his X Factor judge wife Sharon Osbourne, who were together for over four decades, having wed all the way back in 1982, also shared two younger children together, daughter Kelly, 40, and Jack, 39.

Whilst the latter two often appeared alongside their big-name parents in the family's much-loved titular 00s reality TV series, Aimee moved out of their US residence at just 16, prefer to keep herself out of the spotlight.

"I still felt I was trying to figure out who I was in the chaos of family life," she previously told The Independent. "So why on earth would I want that portrayed on television? I wanted to protect myself, my parents, my siblings, too.

"They were very young, very impressionable."

Aimee, who works primarily as a singer and actress, and her siblings were last seen together with their mother, 73, paying an emotional farewell to Ozzy during a procession in his hometown of Birmingham, UK in the weeks following his passing.

Last night, however, the eldest of the couple's kids appeared alongside media star Sharon on the red carpet of the Grammys, where they paid homage to the fallen rock 'n' roll star.

Aimee was photographed donning a super-chic off-the-shoulder black dress, sitting at a table inside the ceremony alongside rumoured love interest Wes Leavins, the lead singer of Brigitte Calls Me Baby.

The mother-daughter duo were also joined by Jack, Kelly and her partner Sid Wilson, as they watched musicians Post Malone, Slash, Duff McKagan and Red Hot Chili Peppers percussionist Chad Smith perform a rendition of Black Sabbath's 1970 anti-war protest song, 'War Pigs'.

The camera later panned to show Sharon, Jack and Kelly in tears as they clapped on.

Prior to Ozzy's passing, Jack appeared on the Disrespectfully podcast, where he told hosts Katie Maloney and Dayna Kathan that he, Kelly, and Aimee have long endured a turbulent relationship.

"We’re not close at all," the father-of-five claimed. "We don’t have a great relationship."

Of Aimee specifically, Jack added: "She’ll be the first to tell you that. So, it’s no secret."

He also spoke of his sister's decision not to appear on the family's show, claiming Aimee wanted to be an 'obscure, mysterious, moody' musician.

"She deemed doing a show on MTV as low-hanging fruit, and she was like, 'I’m not going to be seen riding coattails'." Jack continued. "That’s how she perceived it.

"Once the show was hugely successful, I think she was like, 'I can’t now come on, because I don’t want to be seen even more as jumping on the bandwagon'. So she just dug her heels in and wanted to be relatively private and obscure."
