Hours before announcing her shock resignation from Selling Sunset, Chrishell Stause took brutal aim at one of her co-stars.
The reality TV star broke the news earlier today (7 Nov) that she'd be stepping down from the Netflix real estate series, claiming she no longer 'needs the show financially', and that, over time, it had started to impact her 'mental health'.
"I’ve vacillated back and forth with this decision in the past," she told Bustle. "I have to be honest - having come from nothing, it’s really hard to turn something like this down."
Stause, 44, went on to admit she didn't yet know whether the high-glam series would return for more seasons following the upcoming 10th instalment, telling her fans: "If they do continue, I wish them the best."

And whilst she lastly claimed she holds 'no ill will toward the show', an Instagram story she uploaded just hours before announcing her resignation strongly hinted that there's one particular cast mate she wouldn't miss.
We are, of course, talking about Chrishell's ex-BFF, Emma Hernan.
For those in need of a reminder, the on-screen pair previously boasted a firm on-screen friendship, stemming from Hernan, 33, joining the show for season four.
Sadly, however, after Hernan started dating boyfriend Blake Davis, things between she and Stause fell apart quickly, after the latter voiced her concerns over the former's new love interest.

In the past, Stause claimed she observed 'so many red flags in one short meeting' when first coming face-to-face with Atlanta real estate agent and developer Davis, accusing him of 'extremely problematic things'.
These reportedly included comparing non-binary people to mental illness and being dismissive of pronouns, behaviours of which didn't sit well with Stause, who is married to non-binary musician G-Flip, who uses they/them pronouns.
Discussing Hernan's decision to continue dating Davis, she recently told Variety: "At first, I put all of it on him. She was kind of innocent in it. Over time, I had to understand that they are aligned, and that is her choice. But it’s not something that I want in my life."
Despite Hernan shutting down Stause's claims, insisting she'd 'corrected' Davis the first time 'because I knew I wanted to be sensitive', her former friend has once again called out her alleged enabling of 'hate speech'.

Taking to Instagram hours before announcing her departure from the show, she wrote in a lengthy message: "The posts I shared from Emma’s bf: HE SHARED ALL OF THIS PUBLICLY."
She added that Davis had also used racist language in the past, directing it towards their Black co-star Chelsea Lazkani: "Plus SO many more than I shared inciting hate speech towards the LGBTQ community along with proudly telling myself and Chelsea he feels entitled to using the N word."
Stause went on to claim Hernan 'chooses' to stay with Davis, adding: "That’s on her. She doesn’t mind the hate speech. She just minded me drawing attention to his page where he was doing it.
"All of which she knew about for the year and half before I ever said anything. That’s hurtful to learn her morals when her queer and black friend were her ‘best friends’ I am tired of this narrative."

She continued: "If I see racism or homophobia, l’m not the girl to help you cover it up. Using a Michelle Obama quote about taking the high road on a show where she defended his use of the N word and hasn’t spoken up for Chelsea’s treatment when others work to paint her as a threat is mind blowing."
Hernan has yet to respond to the Story, or the news of Stause's departure from the show.
