If there’s one film genre Brad Pitt can’t stand, it’s adult movies and the reason is far more specific than you might expect.
The two-time Oscar winner, 62, is one of the most acclaimed actors of his generation, having starred in Fight Club, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, and most recently F1.
The actor and producer, however, doesn't watch *clears throat* adult films because there's one thing that annoys him. He revealed the trait in a wide ranging interview that covered his personal and professional life.
As it turns out, he’s also not too fond of some of his early roles, such as Paul Maclean in 1992’s A River Runs Through It, and he also shared his strong opinions about bad acting.

He’s so against it, it means he cannot enjoy adult material because the acting is too distracting.
Speaking to Esquire, he said. “It’s one of those things that’s accepted but that no one likes—like forties acting, when the female actors would swoon.”

He added: “Bad acting drives me crazy. It’s why I can’t watch porn.”
Fans are having a field day with the unexpected revelation. “Odd way of saying, ‘I skip the story’.”
“This is true,” someone else agreed on Instagram. “I second that,” another person quipped.
“They invented the fast-forward button for such occasions,” another fan opined.
While someone else said: “P**n acing has gotten a lot better.”
Apart from Brad Pitt's movie preferences, the interview also explored his family situation and his sobriety.
The movie star has previously spoken about his relationship with alcohol, including how he had gone to Alcoholics Anonymous after his split from Angelina Jolie.
While he did step back and give up alcohol completely for several years, Putt has revealed that he has now decided to start drinking again.
He explained that although he's no longer sober, he's not drinking heavily but trying to drink 'in a more restrained manner' and know his limits when it comes to booze.
“I got overconfident a couple times, went, ‘Yep, nope, not good for me. Not in big quantities'," he told the outlet.

He added: “I can have a few, but I can’t have a lot. I have to be professional about it.”
“I was sober for seven years,” he revealed, “and then I got back off the wagon.”
He opened up about his previous sobriety, including how he had spoken to a friend about trying to be more balanced.
“And she said, ‘Yeah, you could do that. You could go to an ashram and be more even'," he said.
“But, she goes, ‘I don’t know, I believe in the human experience, and the human experience means I’m here to feel it all. Feel it all. The extreme highs and the depths of the soul-crushing lows'."
Pitt reflected on his this comment had changed his perspective, reflecting that it 'freed' him.
He said: "I heard that and I went, ‘I’m going to stop feeling like there’s something wrong with that.’”
