Sterling Point’s Connor has very famous dad in real life
If you've been glued to the new Amazon Prime series Sterling Point, one of the main stars has a very famous father.
It's been receiving rave reviews, but fans are stunned to find out the family connection for one of the lead actors in the cast.
Fans have been likening Sterling Point to The Summer I Turned Pretty and Voicemails For Isabelle.
It tells the story of a high school graduate by the name of Annie Jacobson, played by Ella Rubin.

One summer she discovers that she has inherited an entire Canadian island, that she shares with her twin brother Jacob.
It's the Jacob actor Keen Ruffalo who has a Hollywood A-lister for his dad.
Is that surname ringing any bells? If you're a Marvel fan, you'll know him for certain.
Yes, his dad is none other than The Incredible Hulk star, Mark Ruffalo, and his mum is fellow actress Sunrise Coigney.
In an interview with Who What Wear, Keen confessed that fashion was actually his first love.
Asked how he got into acting, he recalled: "Obviously, I grew up around my dad doing it. Me and my sisters were kept pretty separate from it all, I grew up on a farm, so I didn't really understand what it was until, I guess, probably the Marvel stuff."
"I had some kid come up to me like, 'Hey, can you have your dad sign this Hulk toy?' And I'm like, "No, man, you're mean to me." But yeah, I didn't really see the appeal in it for a long time," he confessed.
"I was much more interested in what my mom was doing. She was more into fashion and stuff like that. For a long time, I was actually doing fashion and jewelry-making," he shared.
He said it was the COVID lockdown that made him reconsider a career, after initially studying fashion in college, and he remembers thinking: "I need to try something new. … Acting makes my dad so happy, and he loves doing it."
Like many of us over lockdown, he tried doing some Zoom classes, which made him decide to take it seriously.
"I went to RADA for a little while, and after a few years of doing that, probably around 2023, 2024, my dad saw a play that I was doing, and he was like, 'Alright, I think you've put in enough effort, and you're ready to start auditioning,' and he gave me the go-ahead on that."
He said his dad is an 'old-school actor' who wanted him to do it the proper way.
"Eventually, I was able to finally land something after auditioning for a year or so. It was a small part in Nimrods, this Green Day film. Actually, when I auditioned for Sterling Point, I was still shooting [Nimrods]."
Fans couldn't believe it when they found out who his dad is.
"Wdym the actor who plays Connor in Sterling Point is Mark Ruffalo's son?!" asked one.
"The Ruffalo gene is strong bc my sister and I immediately found him charming and funny", added another.
Someone else commented: "A new Ruffalo is stepping into the spotlight!"
It turns out that he's not the only one with a famous father on the set of Sterling Point, as it turns out that Jeffrey Dean Morgan's son also has a small role.
Morgan stars in the show too, so it ended up being a family affair.
