Chloe Madeley and James Haskell have announced their divorce after five years of marriage.
Public speculation ran rife when she was seen without her wedding ring.
The couple married in 2018 have been battling allegations of their split since the 36-year-old personal trainer partied with friends, after it was reported that her soon-to-be ex-husband pictured with a blonde woman in London.
However, the woman was later found to be PR director Martine Bridge, who is a close friend of the former rugby star.
Since that night, both have been seen on several occasions without their wedding rings, and now they have shared why.
Taking to her Instagram to share her feelings with fans, she wrote: “James and I mutually decided separate at the end of September, 2023.”
“We had not planned on releasing a statement at this time - certainly not while the television show was airing - but constant speculation about our marriage has, unfortunately, forced our hand.”
“Beyond this statement, we will not be speaking about this matter publicly, and we would request privacy at this time.”
She added: “Our sole focus now is our beautiful daughter. We shall continue to co-parent with nothing but love.”
James also shared his own statement to his page regarding their split: “It's with a lot of sadness I write this post, but unfortunately, in the world we live in, it has to be done. “
“My priority is my daughter’s and Chloe’s happiness and security. For that reason, I won't be commenting any further.”
According to the MailOnline, Haskell is still living with Madeley and his daughter during this time.
Previously, Madeley had made a comment on social media about ‘keeping it real' as she released information about her new TV show.
She wrote: “Thank you all so much for your BEYOND lovely messages about the show! I love that so many of you are saying you find it funny and relatable.”
“The goal was to keep it 100% real, which is scary, so to have so many mums and couples saying this is exactly what they like about it is a huge relief, comfort and joy. Thank you so much.”
Hopefully the pair will be able to continue to co-parent and find peace outside of their marriage.
