Britney Spears shocks fans as she announces she's adopted a baby and reveals adorable name

Fans of Britney Spears have been delighted by the news that the singer has welcomed a new addition to her family.
The 43-year-old singer took to Instagram over the weekend, where she announced that she has single-handedly adopted a baby girl.
The revelation was made in one of the 'Baby, One More Time' star's signature dancing videos, where she could be seen moving happily in the porch of her Los Angeles home, donning a one piece suit.
In the caption, Spears shared the name of her new daughter, though she opted not to include an image or video of the youngster in the post.

"I want to let you guys know I adopted a beautiful baby girl!!!" she penned.
"Her name is Lennon London Spears."
The pop musician also went on to disclose that she's already clothed her new daughter in an 'adorable dress', that supposedly says 'I'm NEW HERE' written across the front.
Spears announced her plans to adopt a baby several months ago, sharing a clip of herself (which has since been deleted) on Instagram, where she expressed her desire to become a mother again.
"I’ve decided I’m going to adopt a baby girl !!!! I’m actually serious !!!" she'd written in an earlier post, as per Entertainment Now.
The 'Toxic' hitmaker is already mum to sons Sean, 19, and Jayden, 18, both of whom she shares with ex-husband, Kevin Federline.
The pair live in Hawaii with their 47-year-old father and his wife Victoria Prince, as well as their two young children, Peyton and Jordan.
Whilst it's not certain, it is widely believed that Spears' relationships with her sons is strained, being that they opted not to attend their mother's 2022 wedding to her now-ex Sam Asghari.
Federline gained custody of his sons after Spears' father, Jamie, placed her under a controversial conservatorship in 2008, after a judge deemed that she was no longer in a fit state to make decisions surrounding her own wellbeing.
In 2021, this legal arrangement came to an end following the success of the #FreeBritney campaign.
Despite her new freedom, however, the star has since sparked further concern for her wellbeing, with fans frequently commenting on the 'erratic' nature of her dancing videos, and others pointing out her dishevelled hair and smudged eye make-up.
