Bunnie Xo is lifting the lid on her future with her estranged husband Jelly Roll, revealing that they are ‘still having a baby together’.
On Monday (15 June), it became known that the podcaster and influencer, 46, and the American rapper and singer, 41, had called it quits after almost 10 years of marriage.
PEOPLE Magazine reported that Jelly, whose real name is Jason Bradley DeFord, had issued divorce papers to Bunnie on 18 May in Williamson County, Tennessee.
His reasoning was ‘irreconcilable differences,’ however, neither party had publicly confirmed or spoken out about the break-up, until now.

Speaking on the Thursday, 18 June episode of her podcast, Dumb Blonde, the influencer, whose real name is Alisa Andrea DeFord, revealed that the divorce is almost settled and the split hasn’t stopped their plan to have a baby.
“We’re literally settling our divorce in like… we’ve done it in like, what? Three weeks? Two weeks? We’re still having a baby together.”
She added: “We're going to co-parent together. J is my best friend. Like, this isn't what you guys think this is. Nobody cheated on the other person. It's literally just we served our purpose for each other."

News of the split came as a massive shock to fans and Bunnie acknowledged that many of their supporters are ‘so hung up’ on the couple’s past, but now their, ‘future is so much more important and being happy and healthy and best friends through this is probably the biggest gift that we could have given each other’.
She opened up about trying to get pregnant several times which resulted in the loss of four embryos. “It wrecked me emotionally, spiritually, physically,” she shared. “In a way, I kind of think J and I are trauma-bonded.”
Bunnie explained in her memoir, Stripped Down, which was published in February, that she and Jelly Roll intended to start IVF ‘soon’ after finding a surrogate.

The former couple had an argument on Mother’s Day, which is celebrated on the second Sunday in May in the US. She told Jelly Roll, “Well, then file the f—ing divorce papers.”
Bunnie packed a bag and left and they didn’t speak for ‘weeks’ after. “He was so mad and we were so emotional that he ended up doing exactly what I told him to do and filing the divorce papers.”

She adds: “It was not mutual. Even though I told him to file the divorce papers, I was speaking out of anger and frustration. But was it necessary for us to have a wakeup call and to actually start having these real conversations? Absolutely.”
She adds that Jelly Roll is already dating other people, and she is ‘excited to discover myself single’.
The same night, Jelly Roll addresses speculation around the divorce onstage at Saratoga Springs, New York, saying the internet ‘is a liar’.
He adds: “Me and my wife are best friends, we will always be best friends. I will love her. She will probably be the only woman I'll ever love the way I loved her.”
