Bunnie Xo has opened up to fans about why she deleted her podcast episode addressing her divorce from Jelly Roll.
The podcast host, 46, shocked fans when news of the couple’s split broke. PEOPLE Magazine dropped the bombshell that Jelly, whose real name is Jason Bradley DeFord, 41, had filed divorce papers on 18 May in Williamson County, Tennessee, citing ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason why.
In the weeks that followed, both parties have made it clear that the break-up was on good terms, with Jelly Roll saying at a recent concert that ‘nobody cheated’ and the celebrity duo remain ‘best friends’.

She said there was no cheating, and that she and Jelly Roll are still planning to have a baby via IVF and co-parent it together. She added: “It was not mutual. Even though I told him to file the divorce papers, I was speaking out of anger and frustration. But was it necessary for us to have a wakeup call and to actually start having these real conversations? Absolutely.”
But the author and social media star has now removed the revealing episode, explaining that while she wants to be candid with fans, it ‘backfired’ on her.

“I do always feel like I owe you guys the truth of things even when, to me, they’re obvious, but for some reason people always want to try to make things like a negative thing,” she explained in an episode uploaded on Friday (10 July)
“I took it down because I realised I just don’t want one of the hardest moments of my life to become a permanent headline,” she continued. “I don’t want to live in that.
She explained she didn’t want her divorce to be her whole personality. The podcast episode in which she candidly explained the divorce made her $100,000 and was one of her highest-viewed episodes ever.
“But I don't care about the money,” she said. “If I cared about the money, I would have left it up and let it get another f–king 100 grand.”
“There is so much behind the scenes that I have not spoken on and that I will never speak on,” she shared.
“I have been sitting in purgatory for two and a half months in my studio house,” she added. “Literally, there was times where I was on the floor, screaming, crying, because I could not understand what the f--k was going on.”
