A source has claimed to know the 'real reason' that Brooklyn Beckham reportedly blocked his family amid their ongoing feud.
For those not in the loop, rumours have been swirling for years now that the eldest of David and Victoria Beckham's children, 26, and his wife Nicola Peltz, have been embroiled in a long-time feud with his parents.
The rumour first kicked off back in 2022, with wedding dress dramas being cited by sources as a reason, but since then, it's seemingly escalated.
Brooklyn didn't attend his dad David's 50th birthday celebration in May, nor the moment he was knighted in November, to name just a few family events he missed.

The 26-year-old former photographer and his family have also been absent from each other's social media for some time, further igniting the rumours.
Then, his younger brother, Cruz, 20, publicly acknowledged the fallout for the first time in December, shutting down claims that David, 50, and Victoria, 51, blocked Brooklyn.

Sharing a MailOnline news article that alleged his parents made the first move to his Instagram stories, he responded with "NOT TRUE. My mum and dad would never unfollow their son … Let's get the facts right. They woke up blocked … as did I."

Most recently, last week, it was reported that Brooklyn has issued his parents a cease-and-desist letter, alleging that he can only be contacted by the former England footballer and Spice Girl singer through lawyers.
An anonymous individual told The Sun: "Truly, people do not know the full facts of this heartbreaking tale, and think Brooklyn was just being truculent when he blocked his parents. The reality is that he issued them with a letter at the end of last summer, asking for any correspondence to go via lawyers only, and wanted to try and make amends privately not publicly."
And now, another source has alleged to The Mirror that Brooklyn's supposed choice to block his parents and issue the legal letter was to protect his mental health.
According to the publication, he told friends how online posts from David and Victoria, in which he was tagged or mentioned, had impacted him.

The source claims that the cease and desist letter only came after his 'requests to stop' had gone ignored, as they alleged: “It had been leading to issues with his mental health….it was to protect himself."
However, the publication reports that Brooklyn thought the situation worsened when mum Victoria liked one of his pictures and dad David posted a black-and-white picture of him as a child at Christmas.

This is because he'd rather reconcile 'privately' than on social media, according to the anonymous claims.

The Mirror also reports that one of the main issues is that Brooklyn believes his mum and dad still see him as a child rather than an adult, as a friend allegedly said: “Even the Xmas post by his dad was of Brooklyn as a child.”
On top of this, Brooklyn is also said to be hurt by the 'misogynistic' claims that Nicola is the one behind everything, as a source said: “This narrative is so sexist and misogynistic, and he does not stand for his wife being vilified in this way. It’s a story as old as time: blame the woman for the man’s actions. It’s just deeply insulting."
Meanwhile, another source has allegedly claimed that David and Victoria are 'desperately sad' about the situation, and friends reportedly say every post or contact has been made in an attempt to reconcile.
The source reportedly said: “They are only doing what every parent would do in this situation….they love Brooklyn deeply and will always be there for him."
