Britney Spears has broken her silence on her ‘passionate’ two-week fling with Colin Farrell.
The 41-year-old pop star originally met the 47-year-old Dumbo actor through a ‘club promoter friend’ before visiting him on the set of his 2003 film S.W.A.T. and hitting it off.
The ‘Gimme More’ hit-maker is set to spill everything in her hotly anticipated memoir, The Woman In Me, which hits shelves next week.

In the book, Britney compares their ‘passionate’ fling to a ‘street fight’ and admits they were ‘all over each other’.

“Brawl is the only word for it - we were all over each other, grappling so passionately it was like we were in a street fight,” Britney recalls in an excerpt of the book published by TIME.

The Grammy winner attended the premiere of Farrell’s film The Recruit where he told reporters: “We’re not dating. She’s a sweet, sweet girl. There’s nothing going on - just mates.”
Britney writes: “As I had before when I'd felt too attached to a man, I tried to convince myself in every way that it was not a big deal, that we were just having fun, that in this case, I was vulnerable because I wasn't over Justin yet.
“For a brief moment in time, I did think there could be something there. The disappointments in my romantic life were just one part of how isolated I became. I felt so awkward all the time.”
Elsewhere in the memoir, the Mississippi-born singer shares bombshell claims about her three-year relationship with fellow former teen star Justin Timberlake.

The pair met on the set of The Mickey Mouse Club in 1992.
Britney claims that Justin cheated on her with another celebrity, although she doesn’t name the person in her book.
According to TMZ’s sources, Britney doesn’t name the person with whom the NSYNC singer allegedly cheated on her with because she now has a family of her own, and Britney doesn’t want to embarrass her.

The singer also claims in her yet-to-be-released book that she became pregnant during her relationship with Justin and ultimately decided to have an abortion.
In her memoir, Britney explains she had plans of starting a family with Justin, but that he insisted they were both too young to become parents at the time.
The Woman In Me will be released on 24 October.
