If something seems too good to be true, it probably is.
That's what one DJ found out after 'Justin Bieber' arrived to perform a surprise set during his show at the XS nightclub in Las Vegas on Saturday (16 August).
DJ Gryffin has shared his feelings about being duped by the bogus Bieber on his Instagram, in a post tagged 'Biebergate'.
It was a packed out venue with Gryffin performing, when the now-dubbed 'Bustin Jieber' turned up with team in tow, apparently offering to perform a set.

They were all for it, and 'Bieber' then sang 'Sorry' to the crowd along with a few other tracks before someone realised he wasn't the real deal and cut the performance short.
It also emerged that the fake had reportedly run up a $10,000 bar tab, too, which he's said to have paid before leaving the venue.

The embarrassed entertainer has now posted a video detailing what happened.

Gryffin - real name Daniel Griffith - confessed that 'a dark venue and loud music didn't help' as he was shown talking to 'Jieber' and his team.
"So his 'team' said he wanted to perform Sorry... little did I know that I was about to be sorry," he recalled. Awkward.
Gryffin added: "The place went wild... after 4 mins and 27 seconds of what sounded like Justin Bieber, I found out the worst news imaginable."
The DJ is then seen walking away from his set happily, saying: "That was insane, that was actually insane," before someone said: "Complete fake."
His jaw dropped in horror as he said: "No way!" As his friend insisted: "I swear on my life."

It then cut to Gryffin in his hotel room, saying: "I literally thought he put on a lot of weight since the album dropped."
After footage of the mistake appeared online, it emerged that the copycat Bieber was Dylan Desclos, 29, who had also been spotted earlier in the day posing for selfies with fans who were convinced it was him.
Owners of the nightclub issued a statement, with Wynn spokesperson Michael Weaver saying: "After an elaborate and multi-step ruse by him and his advance team, a Justin Bieber impersonator was granted access to the XS stage.

"As soon as the error was recognised, he was removed from the resort and denied future entry."
"'Future' in this instance means 'forever'," they insisted.
Fans rushed to the comment section to praise the DJ for how he handled the situation.
"Handled with class and grace," one wrote, as someone else added: "Bustin Jeiber looked a whole vibe though."

Another DJ joked: "This happens to me all the time," while even Paris Hilton replied with a crying laughing emoji.
Gryffin finished by adding: "Btw I have a new song out called higher power (Justin Bieber is not on it) but it's good I promise."
