Britney Spears 'finally confirms she cheated on ex Justin Timberlake' after years of rumours

Decades after the rumours first arose, Britney Spears is set to address everything in her upcoming memoir.

Britney Spears is finally set to address the rumours that she cheated on her ex-boyfriend, Justin Timberlake, decades after accusations were made.

The pop icon, 41, is gearing up for the release of her hotly-anticipated memoir, The Woman in Me later this month.

The ‘Born to Make You Happy’ hit-maker will share candid details about her private life for the very first time, including her and Justin’s relationship, which lasted between 1999 and 2002.

It is rumoured that the pair called it quits after three years of dating, after a close encounter with Australian choreographer, Wade Robson.

Justin went on to release his savage break-up song ‘Cry Me A River’ in 2002.

Britney confirms she kissed Wade during a night out in her new memoir, according to The US Sun.

“We were out one night and we went to a Spanish bar. We danced and danced. I made out with him that night,” the Grammy Award winner wrote in her book.

She goes on to say that she was loyal to the former *NSYNC singer for years ‘with that one exception’.

Britney apparently told Justin about the kiss and they were able to move passed it and stay together. She continued working with Wade who choreographed some of her music videos and her Live from Las Vegas special.

It comes after Britney said Justin cheated on her with another celebrity, although she doesn’t name the person in her book.

According to TMZ’s sources, Britney doesn’t name the person with whom the NSYNC singer allegedly cheated on her with because she now has a family of her own, and Britney doesn’t want to embarrass her. However, this probably won’t stop Britney’s passionate fanbase, who started the #FreeBritney movement which ultimately led to the end of her 13-year conservatorship, from speculating and figuring it out for themselves.

The singer also claims in her yet-to-be-released book that she became pregnant during her relationship with Justin and ultimately decided to have an abortion.

In her memoir, Britney explained she had plans of starting a family with Justin, but that he insisted they were both too young to become parents at the time.

“It was a surprise, but for me, it wasn't a tragedy," Britney said. This excerpt was also shared with People.

"I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I’d anticipated.

"But Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young."

The Woman in Me will be released 24 October 2023.
