Ever been watching a movie with your family only for an X-rated scene to pop up, leaving you in the most awkward position ever?

Well, that level of cringe goes far beyond just steamy flicks and even translates into our favourite music, as Billie Eilish fans have been left reeling after finding out her brother helps her write songs after paying attention to some questionable lyrics in one very popular track.

Billie, 23, has released a number of bangers in her career so far, including smash-hits like 'Ocean Eyes', 'Bad Guy' and 'Birds of a Feather'.

She regularly collaborates with big bro Finneas O'Connell, 27, with her latest album titled Hit Me Hard and Soft dropping in May last year.

One of the songs on the singer's third studio album, 'Lunch', clearly captured the attention of fans following its release given its more mature lyrics.

They go: "I could eat that girl for lunch / Yeah, she dances on my tongue / Tastes like she might be the one / And I can never get enough / I could buy her so much stuff / It's a craving, not a crush."

The lyrics continue: "Call me when you're there / Said, 'I brought you something rare' / And I left it under 'Claire' / So now she's coming up the stairs / So I'm pulling up a chair / And I'm putting up my hair."

While many love the track, it's clear that others have wondered how her brother, Finneas, coped with helping his sister work on her songs which feature, well, raunchier lyrics.

"Idk how Finneas does it," wondered one fan while a second chimed in: "Okay but how is Finneas sitting there making this. Bless him."

Another then agreed: "LITERALLY MY THOUGHTS!"

And a final TikTok user explained: "He probably just mentally separates it if that makes sense. Like he probably just focuses on the music rather than what the lyrics say / his sister being who sings them lmao."

Makes sense.

Billie has a long history of being super candid with her fans about the intimate details of her life.

Whether she's hitting out at body-shaming trolls online, normalising living with Tourettes or opening up about being queer - it seems she's all about being honest with her fans.

And one revelation saw Billie explain exactly how she practices self-love and why the way she does it is so 'empowering'.

Speaking in an interview with Rolling Stone about self-pleasure back in April, the pop icon explained that it is an 'enormous' part of her life, adding that it’s a ‘huge, huge help' to her as someone with 'extreme body issues and dysmorphia'.

Taking it one step further, she also revealed where she likes to do it and why that's her go-to spot.

Baring all, Billie shared that she likes to explore self-pleasure in front of a mirror, explaining the two main reasons behind it.

She said: "Partly because it’s hot, but it also makes me have such a raw, deep connection to myself and my body, and have a love for my body that I have not really ever had.

"I got to say, looking at yourself in the mirror and thinking ‘I look really good right now’ is so helpful."

She continued: "You can manufacture the situation you’re in to make sure you look good. You can make the light super dim, you can be in a specific outfit or in a specific position that’s more flattering.

"I have learned that looking at myself and watching myself feel pleasure has been an extreme help in loving myself and accepting myself, and feeling empowered and comfortable. I should have a PhD in masturbation.”
