One downside to being rich and famous is being so famous that you can't dress the way you want without being criticised.

'Bad Guy' singer Billie Eilish has issued an x-rated response to those trolls who say she’s ‘changed’ her look.

On Saturday (27 May), the California-born songwriter took to Instagram stories to address a 'letter to some comments I be seeing sometimes...'

The 21-year-old claims that the trolls who used to criticise her for dressing too 'boy ish' are still criticising her for wearing more 'feminine or fitting' clothes.

She called these people out for being 'true idiots' who should just 'let women exist'.

"I spent the first 5 years of my career getting absolutely OBLITERATED by you fools for being boy ish and dressing how i did & constantly being told i'd be hotter if i acted like a woman," Billie wrote.

"And now when I feel comfortable enough to wear anything remotely feminine or fitting, I CHANGED and am a sellout.. and 'what happened to her' oMg iT's nOt the sAmE billie she's just like the rest bla blah.

Billie Eilish shut down her haters.

"You guys are true idiots. LOL i can be BOTH you f**king bozos. LET WOMEN EXIST! :)))).

"Also that femininity does not equal weakness???!!!! omg?! insane right? who knew??

"And also totally unheard of and insane to want to express yourself differently at different times."

The singer then sarcastically added: "FUN FACT! did you know that women are multifaceted!!!!!??? shocking right?? believe it or not women can be interested in multiple things."

And in perhaps the best way possible, she tells her haters to 'suck my absolute c**k and balls you women-hating ass weirdos'.

That is certainly one way to shut down your haters.

Last year, in an interview with The Sunday Times magazine, Billie said that women have a tough time being in the public eye.

She said: "No matter what you do, it’s wrong and right.

"Wearing baggy clothes, nobody is attracted to me, I feel incredibly unlovable and unsexy and not beautiful, and people shame you for not being feminine enough.

"Then you wear something more revealing and they’re, like, you’re such a fat cow w****.

"I’m a s*** and I’m a sell-out and I’m just like every other celebrity selling their bodies, and woah! What the f*** do you want?

"It’s a crazy world for women and women in the public eye."
