Adam Peaty’s mum has now broken her silence after being 'exiled' from his wedding to Holly Ramsay.
Now, for anyone not in the know, 31-year-old Olympic swimmer Adam tied the knot with Holly Ramsay - Gordon Ramsay's 25-year-old daughter - at Bath Abbey over the weekend (27 December).
The pair first met in 2021, when Adam was signed up for Strictly Come Dancing with his bride-to-be's little sister, Matilda.
At the time, the athlete was still with ex-girlfriend Eirianedd Munro, with whom he shares a five-year-old son. But he and Holly went public with their romance in 2023.

Many celebs, including David and Victoria Beckham, were papped at the wedding along with Holly's parents and five siblings, but Adam's side of the aisle was said to have been slightly less crowded, given that neither his mother nor father received invitations.

The rumoured 'family feud' is said to have started ahead of this weekend's nuptials with Adam's mum, Caroline, telling the Daily Mail that a huge family fall-out had seen her struck off the guest list several months earlier.
According to the mother-in-law, the drama was first sparked by Holly initially failing to invite Caroline to her hen party.
Following her lack of invitation, Caroline was reportedly 'banned' from the wedding altogether, after going on something of a social media tirade.
At one point, she wrote on Instagram: "Crying is a way your eyes speak when your mouth can’t explain how broken your heart is."
In another, Caroline penned: "The ones I love are the people who hurt me the most. When you love someone, you protect them from the pain, you don’t become the cause of it."
The same family insider added of the matter: "We think he has treated Caroline appallingly. You can hear it in her voice. She’s heartbroken."

Speaking to the Mail before the wedding, Caroline said: "I don't think they understand how much they have hurt me; it's as if they have cut my heart out.
"This is the first Christmas that I've not had my family together – my family is broken. Yes, I have my other grandchildren. Yes, I have my other children, but my family is split because of the goings on...because of the wedding."
She continued: "Me going would just cause even more of a storm and I don't want to ruin his wedding day. I wanted to be there quietly to watch him get married, but that can't happen now.
"I don't know if they are too young or don't value family as much as I have, but they don't understand that family is the foundation to everything."
"Family is the foundation you can return to when things get rough. I've had that throughout my life. Luckily, my mum is still alive and still supports me at 83 – I still get told off as if I'm five! I want that for my children, if I'm lucky enough to live that long," she added.

Months prior to his wedding, Adam previously responded to rumours of mounting tension, writing on social media: "Over the past few days, a lot has been reported and comments posted about the private life of Holly and myself.
"My sister Bethany, has also been targeted. This has been almost entirely one-sided and, in many cases, excessive and intrusive. What makes it worse is that it has been encouraged by members of my family."
He added that, due to an active police inquiry into 'serious matters that arose long before recent events', he couldn't provide any more specifics, emphasising, however: "For those who know me personally, you know that I work so hard on trying to improve myself as a person who wants to contribute to making the world a better place."
Then, whilst delivering his speech this weekend, he is understood to have avoided references to his family, instead giving a special shout-out to his swim coach, Mel Marshall, describing her as his 'everything', and thanking her for 'grounding and inspiring' him.
Adam also confessed to seeing Mel 'like a mum'.
