Whilst officially welcoming Adam Peaty into his family over the weekend, Gordon Ramsay reportedly couldn't help but fire a savage shot in his new son-in-law's direction.
For those who missed it, Ramsay's daughter Holly, 25, married 31-year-old Olympic swimmer Peaty at Bath Abbey on Saturday (27 December), surrounded by her big-name family, and several other stars.
Following a church service, the newlyweds went on to host a grand reception at the plush Kin House.
Ex-England legend David Beckham and his fashion designer wife Victoria Beckham were amongst the celebrity guests in attendance, along with their children Romeo, Cruz and Harper. Their eldest, Brooklyn, remained away amid reports of a bitter family feud.

Also having rocked up were the likes of Channel 5 newsreader Dan Walker and Dragons' Den star Sara Davies.

A number of fellow foodies also turned up, including MasterChef: The Professionals star Marcus Wareing and Saturday Kitchen regular Paul Ainsworth.
Two individuals that were said to have been left out in the cold, were Peaty's own mother, Caroline, and his father, Mark.
By her own admission, Caroline Peaty had been uninvited from the celebration following an almighty row sparked several months earlier, after she was also left off the guest list for social media influencer Holly's hen-do.
"I don’t think they understand how much they have hurt me; it’s as if they have cut my heart out," she told the Daily Mail ahead of this weekend's nuptials. "This is the first Christmas that I’ve not had my family together - my family is broken."

Apparently, however, the headline-hitting mother-son fall-out inspired some of 59-year-old Ramsay's 'father of the bride' speech material.
According to The Sun - who reportedly spoke to a number of invited guests - during the meal, the celebrity chef referenced the disagreement, claiming his wife, Tana, would be a 'good mum to them both'.
Whilst it may have served as a message of welcome to the sportsman, some onlookers took the remark to be a slight aimed in Peaty's direction, adding of Holly: "Shame you don't have the same."
Ramsay followed the message by commenting how beautiful his daughter looked, describing Peaty as a 'lucky man'.
"Look at Tana and that's what you have to look forward to," he went on to jibe.

Peaty - who shares a five-year-old son with ex-girlfriend Eirianedd Munro - is also understood to avoided references to his family during his own speech.
Instead, the Olympian gave a specific shout-out to his swim coach, Mel Marshall, describing her as his 'everything', and thanking her for 'grounding and inspiring' him. Peaty is lastly said to have confessed he saw Mel 'like a mum'.
