Lana Condor is officially starring in a new movie, named Moonshot.
You'll know her best from the To All The Boys films, but now Lana is the lead protagonist in yet another rom-com - this time, with a sci-fi twist.
In development at HBO Max, the film is being produced by Greg Berlanti (Love, Simon) and directed by Chris Winterbauer, and is set in the future, when humans are living on Mars.

But the catch is, only the "best of humanity" are allowed to reside on the planet.
Lana's character is college student, Sophie, who sneaks onto a shuttle headed to Mars alongside a friend, to find their other halves.
Sophie is a to-the-point, no-nonsense student, whose life is pretty normal.

However, when she makes the decision to chase after her boyfriend, Calvin, her whole life is flipped upside down.
Sharing the news of the project on Instagram, Lana wrote: "I am SO EXCITED for this project!!!
"I've always had a huge fascination w/ space and space travel and I absolutely cannot wait for this adventure!"

We don't yet have an official release date for the film, or any more info on the cast, but we'll update you as soon as we know more.
Moonshot is one of a series of four films in production by Berlanti Productions and HBO Max.
UnPregnant is another currently in development, while The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue is also being converted for the big screen.
This isn't the only big film news from Lana at the moment, as it's also not long before we get to see her in To All the Boys: Always and Forever, Lara Jean - the third and final instalment in the To All The Boys franchise.

She's also previously starred in Alita: Battle Angelis and X-Men: Apocalypse.
