To All The Boys: PS: I Still Love You (the second movie in the To All The Boys film franchise) only dropped last month, yet already we're longing for the third instalment.

We have so many questions for part three - To All The Boys: Always And Forever, Lara Jean.

Will Lara Jean Covey (Lana Condor) and Peter Kavinsky (Noah Centineo) be able to stand the test of time? What will happen when they go off to college? Will any other guys get in the way of their love like John Ambrose Maclaren (Jordan Fisher) did in the second film?

So while we wait for answers, we have deep dived into everything we know about the next sequel. Yes, it's 100 per cent happening.

Has filming begun for To All The Boys 3?

The third movie was confirmed by Netflix last August at the same time as the launch date of To All The Boys 2, and they were both filmed at the same time, too.

To All The Boys: Always And Forever Lara Jean will be based on Jenny Han's novel of the same name - the last in the book series - and filming of it finished in September last year.

Shortly after wrapping up final scenes, Lana posted emotionally on Instagram: "It's been 16 days since the To All The Boys I've Loved Before franchise wrapped shooting movies 2 & 3.

"I've been really struggling how to put into words my feelings towards this ending... words will never be able to describe my love for Lara Jean.

"Her family, her friends, Peter. Words will never be able to describe the long nights on set, where it would suddenly hit me, like a ton of bricks, that I was getting the honor of portraying a girl so fiercely determined in love, who represents strength in softness.

"Words will never be able to describe my gratitude to YOU, for loving her as much as I do."

When will To All The Boys 3 be released?

The release date is yet to be revealed, but given that filming has finished, we're expecting movie 3 to be hot on the heels of the last instalment which landed on February 12th.

Although the last two movies had 18 months between them, we think that would be excessive since it's likely almost ready to screen already. Chop chop with that editing, Netflix.

Who will star in the cast of To All The Boys 3?

Naturally Lana will return as Lara Jean, and Noah as Peter, but it is still unconfirmed if Jordan will return as John.

For starters, he is not featured in the third book, but he himself has been coy about whether he will return.

"Filming for the third film has already taken place and I, Jordan Fisher, cannot confirm nor [deny] John Ambrose's involvement in the third film," he told Entertainment Tonight online.

Peter's ex girlfriend, Genevieve (Emilija Baranac) is returning too, as well as Lara Jean's sisters, Margot (Janel Parrish) and Kitty (Anna Cathcart), her bestie Christine (Madeleine Arthur) and dad, Dr Covey (John Corbett) - we're glad all our faves are coming back.

It is unknown if John Ambrose McClaren played by Jordan Fisher will have any role in the third film (

What's the plot of To All The Boys 3?

John may have acted as a spanner in the works between Lara Jean and Peter's love in the second movie, but we think he's long gone now - we don't even know he's starring in the next sequel just yet, which suggests even if he does have a role, it'll be minimal.

If we're looking to the book for clues, this film will be all about the loved up couple and how they contend with the prospect of heading to different colleges.

Peter lands a lacrosse scholarship at the University of Virginia and Lara Jean has plans to transfer to Peter's school later (girl don't let us down now - you do you!) But when her waitlist sees her land a place at a school seriously far away (University of North Carolina), the relationship looks set to be majorly tested. Eek!

Jenny Han spoke to ET, saying of the plot: "The third movie really explores what happens when you're in a relationship and then you have all the real-life stuff that comes into play".

She also commented that we should "always be worried" about Lara Jean and Peter.

Adding: "If I'm doing my job right, you're worried."

She continued: "Lara Jean loves love and she loves the guys, but at the end of the day, I know that she's good on her own as well. We'll see. It's very satisfying, like, 'Yes, girl! Get your life!'"

Sounds promising that she'll snap out of making decisions based on guys. Good - we know Peter is cute, but come on.

Whilst we want them to end up together, obvs, they're just teenagers still, so we've got to be realistic we suppose. Maybe they'll make it work post-college?

We guess only time will tell.

To All the Boys: Always and Forever, Lara Jean has no set release date yet, but To All The Boys: PS: I Still Love You (film 2) is currently on Netflix.
