Just as we start approaching cuffing season, many of us will be flocking back to our favourite comfort rom-coms to bring in the colder months.

Whether that's the iconic Love Actually, the heartwarming The Holiday or just your good old-fashioned Bridget Jones saga - there's a brand-new kid on the block and people are going mad for it.

Netflix viewers are now calling the flick, Love At First Sight, the platform's 'best movie ever'. Check out the trailer here:

The film, which was released this year, is based upon the 2011 novel The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith.

Directed by Vanessa Caswill and written by Katie Lovejoy, the rom-com stars Haley Lu Richardson alongside Bohemian Rhapsody's Ben Hardy.

The pair are also joined by likes of Dexter Fletcher, Rob Delaney, Sally Phillips and Jameela Jamil.

The official tagline reads: "100,000 daily flights around the world. 6 million travellers. One connection."

Intrigued?

Well, you'll be happy to know the plot unfolds in one of the most romantic scenarios possible - an airport of all places.

"After missing her flight from New York to London, Hadley (Haley Lu Richardson) meets Oliver (Ben Hardy) in a chance encounter at the airport that sparks an instant connection," the official Netflix synopsis reads.

It continues: "A long night on the plane together passes in the blink of an eye but upon landing at Heathrow, the pair are separated and finding each other in the chaos seems impossible.

"Will fate intervene to transform these seat mates into soul mates?"

The flick, which has already received an impressive 81 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes' Tomatometer, has left Netflix viewers all over totally obsessed.

One X - formerly Twitter - user penned: "Just watched Love at First Sight on Netflix and oh my God it was so cute!??

"This is exactly what I was craving for!!! The cute first meet?? Airport scene and fight scene?? A Wedding crash? Oliver and Hadley are adorable they have my whole entire heart ahh!"
