As the Game of Thrones series eight finale hit our screens this week, more details on Bloodmoon - the working title of a much-anticipated prequel - have emerged.
Several potential spin-off shows have been rumoured to be in the pipeline but one in particular has got devotees seriously excited as filming for the pilot is already said to have commenced in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
While the team behind the show are keeping tight-lipped, we've done some digging. Here's all you need to know.

What is the title of the Game of Thrones prequel?
It's widely been referred to as Bloodmoon although it's yet to be confirmed whether that will be its official name. It's currently thought to be in the pilot stages and being developed by HBO - the same American television network behind Game of Thrones.
What does Blood Moon mean?
A Blood Moon is often connected to mystical events in popular culture and the word has a couple of meanings in common language. It's often used to refer to the coppery red colour a full moon turns during a total lunar eclipse.

It's also another name for the Hunter's Moon - a type of full moon that can appear red for several evenings in autumn.
When is Bloodmoon coming out?
It's still in the early pilot stages but if it does go to air, one thing's for sure, it won't be for a while - not until 2020 at least.
"I don't want to use it [Game of Thrones finale] to launch something else, I want it to stand as the finale of the greatest TV show of all time, I don't want to do anything that infringes on that," Casey Bloys HBO's president of programming said in January.
Oscar nominee Naomi Watts, who featured in King Kong and 21 Grams, will be the lead playing a "charismatic socialite hiding a dark secret," according to HBO.

Speculation is rife about who exactly her character will be but suggestions include a Lannister ancestor and Nissa Nissa - wife of Azor Ahai, the Lord of Light and central figure of the faith of R'hllor.
Miranda Richardson, who played Rita Skeeter in the Harry Potter films, and Josh Whitehouse, Poldark actor and Burberry model, have also been confirmed as cast members.
Others on the list include Naomi Ackie (Lady Macbeth), Denise Gough (Monday), Jamie Campbell Bower (Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald), Sheila Atim (Harlots), Ivanno Jeremiah (Humans), Georgie Henley (The Chronicles of Narnia films), Alex Sharp (How to Talk to Girls at Parties) and Toby Regbo (The Last Kingdom, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald).
What is Bloodmoon about?

That's the official word from HBO who say it will be set around 5,000 years before the present storyline.
Who is involved in Bloodmoon?

Writer and producer Jane Goldman and Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin are behind it although Game of Thrones creators and executive producers David Benioff and D. B. Weiss won't be a part of it.
Jane, who's also married to Jonathan Ross, has experience in adapting books for television including Tim Burton's film version of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children.
SJ Clarkson, who has worked on the likes of Orange is the New Black, will be serving as an executive producer.
