Police have issued a statement on an alleged domestic violence incident involving The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Taylor Frankie Paul and her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen.
A spokesperson for the Draper City Police Department confirmed to PEOPLE that there is an open 'domestic assault investigation' regarding Paul and Mortensen.
They confirmed 'allegations have been made in both directions' and 'contact was made with involved parties' on February 24th and February 25th.
As per the outlet, the spokesperson declined to share more amid the ongoing investigation.

A source close to the cast also told PEOPLE that other MomTok members are stepping back from Paul as things unfold, reportedly saying: "None of the women want to be associated with her."
Paul, a star of Mormon Wives and the original founder of MomTok, was arrested in 2023 over alleged domestic violence following an argument with Mortensen. The pair share a one-year-old son named Ever.

She faced misdemeanour charges of assault, criminal mischief, and commission of domestic violence in the presence of a child after being accused of throwing a chair at Mortensen that allegedly hit her daughter, according to reporting by CBS News at the time.
Speaking later on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Paul said the charges 'were all dropped'.
During the episode, she referred to the alleged assault as 'the worst night of my life'.
"I think I was being very selfish, and I've accepted that I was selfish at that time," she said. "But I've learned from it, and I've been trying to make up for it."

The statement comes just a matter of days after the fourth season of the show was released on Hulu (12 March).
Fans of the reality TV show will know that Paul and Mortensen's relationship dynamic has carried much of the drama across The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, which first hit our screens back in 2024.
By season four, several MomTok members openly questioned whether Paul was in the right place to join The Bachelorette while still tied up with her ex at the time.
In season four, after arriving in Los Angeles to film, Paul spoke with Mortensen over FaceTime, where he apologised and admitted that his past behaviour had 'caused a lot of problems', including dating a friend of co-star Miranda Hope.

Paul accepted the apology on the call, but later undercut it in a confessional, saying: "The apology is just words, like it always is."
Speaking about going on The Bachelorette, Paul said: "I do think it's an opportunity to get away from him, absolutely. It's like a dream come true."
Paul's Bachelorette season is set to debut in a week (22 March).
Tyla has previously reached out to both Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen's representatives for comment.
