When hairdresser Heidi Lee Oley was forced to shut down her beloved Chroma Station Salon due to the coronavirus epidemic, she needed somebody to continue practicing her skills on.
And, given that the world has been instructed to stay inside to limit the spread of coronavirus, it fell to her boyfriend Geoff to step in as model.
Heidi and Geoff were both from Atlanta, Georgia, and had been staying in her parents' cabin, only leaving to buy essential groceries.

So, in a bid to fill the time, the hairdresser decided to play with Geoff's hair for fun.
Before she knew it, a George Washington hairstyle she had fashioned on him had gone viral on Facebook.
And since then, Heidi has been experimenting with different hairstyles on Geoff, including an Amy Winehouse tease, a flowery prom hairdo and Yoda style buns.
LOL.

Heidi said: "We haven't been leaving the house, only for food, which is a shock from city life but it's what has to be done to flatten the coronavirus curve.
"I knew I'd be out of work for weeks, possibly months, so when he was on the computer I started curling [his hair] and was like 'I'm going to make you look like George Washington.'
"I posted it to a few hair forums on Facebook and they loved it."

After posting the first hilarious picture, the comments were so positive that Heidi simply had to keep going.
"Our industry, among others, is in limbo, we don't have clients, we don't get paid, many are self-employed.
"The love we received is why we kept the series going. I wanted to be a little glimmer of light during the shadows of the uncertainty of our industry," she said.

Heidi now gets several requests online for different types of hairstyles to try out on Geoff.
She added: "It's fun for me, he likes his hair played with, win-win. He has a heart of gold for letting me do this and post it.
What a good sport Geoff is. This certainly put a smile on our faces.
