Fans Are Loving The Hidden Detail In Prince Harry's Outfit At Awards Ceremony

The couple attended the NAACP Awards this weekend.

Fans have praised Prince Harry after noticing a subtle detail in his outfit from this weekend's NAACP Image Awards.

Harry and Meghan made a special appearance to accept the Presidents Award for Archewell, which has been instrumental in the Black Lives Matter movement, and the promotion of vaccine equity.

Watch their acceptance speech here:

While Meghan wore a blue silk dress draped over one shoulder, gold sandals, with a gold and blue stone bracelet - which once belonged to Princess Diana - Harry looked smart in a tuxedo.

But what might not have been obvious at first glance was that both Meghan and Harry's outfits were custom-made by Black designers.

The annual awards ceremony is held by the US-based National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, so their tribute was fitting for the occasion.

Meghan's gown was made by Christopher John Rogers, while Harry's tux was designed by black designer Ozwald Boateng.

Another added: "I love the way they put thought into everything, showcasing Black designers. They wore the looks so well!"

"Oooohhhh! That’s so sweet of them to highlight some black designers" tweeted a third.

The couple used their award acceptance speech to call for support for the people of Ukraine before Prince Harry thanked the Black community for welcoming him "so warmly".

The former senior royal said: "Before we begin, we would like to acknowledge the people of Ukraine who urgently need our continued support as a global community. And I also echo the immense gratitude for tonight, both for this award and to this community for welcoming me so warmly.

"I think it's safe to say that I come from a very different background than my incredible wife. Yet our lives were brought together for a reason. We share a commitment to a life of service, a responsibility to confront injustice, and a belief that the most often overlooked are the most important to listen to."
