In the past, Mick has shared some rather graphic images of the full-size adult pigs that he has slaughtered and sent off for butchering to his Instagram, and they tend not to be met with the best response.

His most recent post to social media featured an enormous dead pig hanging from the hook of a butcher's trailer, accompanied by the caption: "303.85kgs".

The farmer looked small standing beside the giant hog, holding it steady as he posed for the photo.

Mick upset some followers with his latest post. (

Reacting to the photo, MAFS fans and followers took to the comment section to share their thoughts on Mick's striking photo.

"That’s awful and so sad 💔" commented one devastated follower.

"That poor thing deserves better than that. Looks horrible," added a second.

"And he was breathing.. well done taking a life for your own pleasure" a sarcastic comment read.

Another fan simply commented: "Gross. Unfollowing".

Not one to shy away from confrontation, Mick replied to the his former fan, writing: "no need to announce your departure. You aren’t important."
