David Schwimmer Responds To Jennifer Aniston Relationship Rumours

The rumours first began at Friends: The Reunion when the cast dropped the major bombshell that Jen, 52, and David, 54, fancied each other during Season 1.

David admitted to having a 'major crush' on Jen - which she said was reciprocated - but as one of them was always in a relationship, Jen explained they "channelled all our adoration and love for one another into Ross and Rachel.”

“The first season I had a major crush on Jen,” David said.

If that wasn't jaw-dropping enough, rumours later emerged that the pair have been spending time together at Jen's home in LA.

In fact, one source said they even visited a romantic vineyard in Santa Barbara.

But sadly, it seems the whispers are simply just rumours, with David's reps explaining there's no truth to the speculation.

It hasn't stopped fans from going into overdrive, however.

One excited Friends fan tweeted: "Rumors of David Schwimmer and Jennifer Aniston dating in real life just make me happy. Who knows? Ross and Rachel are each other's lobster, after all."

While another said: "Trying to not get too invested in the David Schwimmer and Jennifer Aniston rumors... and failing."

Meanwhile a third added: "Guys, I am as excited for the whole Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer romance stuff as you are, the world is healing, etc, etc. BUT we’re all acting like Monica when she desperately wants Ross and Rachel to get together in S1. That pressure was off putting for Rachel…"
