TikToker Shares Easy Way To Fix Broken Makeup Palettes

TikToker Shares Easy Way To Fix Broken Makeup Palettes

Where has this been all my life?!

There are few things in the world more tragic than a broken makeup palette. But there happens to be a way to put all the broken pieces back together.

It's always a school day on TikTok and luckily for all the broken palettes across the world, a TikToker has a shared an easy hack to fix that exact problem - and all you need is clingfilm and rubbing alcohol.

Watch the video below:

TikTok beauty guru Rose Friedrike shared the video showing her fixing one of her broken eyeshadow palettes. The eyeshadow has been reduced to mere crumbs and shards at the beginning but looks as good as new by the end.

Rose starts by covering the palette in clingfilm and then uses a normal kitchen spoon to compress the eyeshadow into a more smooth and uniform texture.

To ensure the eyeshadow holds its shape, Rose dribbles a few drops of 70 per cent rubbing alcohol onto the eyeshadow. After the rubbing alcohol has soaked in, Rose covers the eyeshadow again with the clingfilm and uses her fingers to smooth out any imperfections.

Rose shared the video hack to her 1.7 million followers and it has since received more than 26,000 likes - there are sure to be a lot of revived palettes thanks to this video.

Rose used a spoon to help her fix her palette and the trusted kitchen utensil happens to be quite a popular item for TikTokers - and we're not talking about food.

Earlier this week, beauty account @kaylambeauty tried the viral hack originally posted by @dhullyzanela in which a simple, everyday kitchen spoon is used to apply eyeshadow on top of the upper eyelid crease.

Watch the video below:

Kayla Marie covers her eye with the rounded end of the spoon and uses an eyeshadow brush to apply the first colour just below her brow bone.

After that step, she uses the handle as a stencil for a sharp line along the bottom of her eye. Once both eyes are complete, Kayla does the remainder of her Orange-themed makeup look off camera.

Never have we ever been more thankful for spoons.
