We all have that one friend who always accidentally spills our personal dating business and Alison Hammond is no exception. Her This Morning co-host Dermot O'Leary exposed a cheeky secret about his pal live on air. Watch below:
As Alison, 47, and Dermot, 49, chatted about his recent birthday celebrations, he jokingly called his co-host ‘a catch’ which led to a hilariously awkward moment as he let slip something secret about Alison’s personal life.
Dermot, who was clearly confused about whether what he revealed was actually a secret, caught on to Alison’s reaction and tried to backtrack live on air.

Alison told him off him ironically for 'telling the whole world’ her secret, with Dermot admitting: “I feel like I’ve gone down a rabbit hole…”
Alison shares a 17-year-old son Aiden with her ex-husband Noureddine Boufaied. She also briefly dated Ben Kusi after meeting when while taking part in the 2020 series of Celebs Go Dating.
Dermot celebrated his 49th birthday last week (23 May) and he recently took to Instagram to thank his fans for sending him ‘birthday love’.
He shared a collection of pictures from his birthday trip to Gallipoli, Italy before heading back to the This Morning studio today.
He wrote: “Thanks for all the birthday love this week. Truly appreciated. Put the phone away for the week, and went to my happy place with the Italian branch of the family… er [sic], the O’Learie’s. Back to my other happy place tomorrow with @alisonhammond55 @thismorning Have a great Sunday.”
This Morning regular Vanessa Feltz commented: “Honestly you haven’t aged since Big Brother’s Little Brother you darling man”.
Strictly Come Dancing professional Graziano Di Prima said: “hope you enjoyed Italy”.
Laura Whitmore, the host of Love Island, showed some birthday love by leaving a a red heart emoji in the comments.
