Senior Year fans are convinced that Martha - played by actress Mary Holland - is related to Sarah Paulson, with viewers adamant they look "so alike".

You can watch the trailer for the movie below:

The film, which dropped on Netflix earlier this month - stars Rebel Wilson as high school cheerleader Stephanie who ends up in a coma right before prom after a tragic cheerleading accident.

Waking up 20 years later at the age of 37, she returns to high school to complete her senior year, determined to be crowned prom queen.

In the movie, Stephanie's BFF at school is Martha, and when she wakes up two decades later, she finds Martha is now the new principal of the school.

But after watching the film, fans are adamant that actress Mary Holland, 36 - who also starred in The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window - is related to actress Sarah Paulson.

Mary Holland stars as Martha in Senior Year.

One wrote on Twitter: "Martha in the new movie senior year looks sooo much like sarah paulson."

While another said: "So i watched senior year and i s2g throughout the whole movie i thought the actress that played martha was sarah paulson’s sister."

And a third added: "Anyone who's seen Senior Year on Netflix and is also a celebrity geek.... It can't be just me who sees a younger version of @MsSarahPaulson in Martha? Mary Holland like my heads baffled."

A fourth said: "So y’all telling me she ain’t related to sarah paulson?"

People think the actor could be related to Sarah Paulson.

"How are mary holland and sarah paulson not sisters?" wrote a fifth.

Despite the speculation between the pair, Mary Holland and Sarah Paulson are not related - just both brilliant actresses!

If you're yet to watch Senior Year you can catch it on Netflix now.
