Love Island fans won't have to wait long to see the return of Casa Amor and it could feature a very familiar face.

The hardest test for the couples in the villa is just around the corner. Fans will recall that the boys and girls will be split - with one group remaining in the main villa and the other group travelling to a new property.

Both groups are greeted by new bombshells who will all try to persuade the Islanders to pursue other options.

The Islanders must ultimately decide whether to stay in their current couple, or couple up with someone new, which always sends shockwaves when the villas are united at the end of Casa Amor week.

Casa Amor was first introduced to the show's format during season three and it's been a highly anticipated event in the Love Island calendar ever since.

Filming is reportedly set to commence on Thursday (29 June) and viewers will likely see a teaser at the end of this week.

A source has said this year’s Casa Amor will be a ‘shocking twist’ and ‘explosive’ which is exactly what we all want to see.

“It's going to be the most shocking twist yet because the cast have no idea it's coming - filming starts tomorrow and it'll be on screen this weekend,” the source told The Sun.

"This year will be explosive as there are barely any solid couples and nobody is official yet.

"Heads will be turned as the Casa Amor cast are the hottest one yet. Fans won't want to miss it."

The ‘shocking’ Casa Amor twist could be the return of a recently dumped Islander.

According to The Mirror, Molly Marsh has not returned to the UK ‘as expected’ and has reportedly flown back to Spain.

Fans have been speculating that this could lead to a very awkward reunion between Molly and Zachariah Noble, who were coupled up until she was brutally dumped following Kady McDermott’s arrival.

The Love Island season 2 star had to choose a boy to couple up with and when she picked Zachariah, Molly was left without a spot in the villa.

Love Island fans were left in shock on Tuesday night (27 June) when the results of the public vote led to a double dumping.

The public were given the power to vote for their favourite boy and favourite girl in the villa and the two with the least amount of results were Mal Nicol and Mehdi Edno.
