Viewers who have seen No Hard Feelings say it’s Jennifer Lawrence's best ever role

The new summer flick has been dubbed Lawrence's best performance by critics.

Whilst this summer might be about the big blockbusters, one film has movie-goers in hysterics.

No Hard Feelings is a new comedy with Matthew Broderick, Andrew Barth Feldman and Jennifer Lawrence.

The raunchy rom-com has struck a chord with cinemagoers who called it the Oscar winners ‘best role’.

It’s pretty impressive given the list of iconic roles that the 32-year-old has had over the years, including heroine Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games.

However, the new flick plays to the actor’s comic talents with Lawrence delivering a hilarious dead-pan performance throughout the R-rated movie.

For those not in the know, No Hard Feelings tells the story of Maddie (Lawrence) - a down-on-her-luck Uber driver who is about to file for bankruptcy.

After her car is repossessed, the young woman replies to a post on Craigslist and soon finds herself tasked with having to date introverted Percy (Feldman).

Whilst most men would jump at the chance to date the A-list actress, the 19-year-old is completely unbothered about relationships – much to the concern of his parents.

The hilarious new film has been a huge hit with audiences, many of whom have raved about the coming-of-age comedy.

In fact, one early reviewer dubbed the upcoming film Lawrence’s best role – despite her winning an Oscar for Silver Linings Playbook back in 2013.

Taking to Twitter, they wrote: “Jennifer Lawrence’s best role? You better believe it! Hysterical summer fun that blends the raunchy with a heartwarming look at breaking out of your shell.”

Continuing, they even showered praise on newcomer Andrew Barth Feldman – who recently made the jump from Broadway shows to the big screen.

The review read: “Andrew Barth Feldman is a star! Never overstays it’s welcome and just has you cracking up the entire time.”

Another had a similarly positive review for the new film and added that they wanted to see Lawrence do more comedies after the recent watch.

“#NoHardFeelings is one of those comedies that just works for a lot of reasons but mainly due to Jennifer Lawrence’s performance,” they wrote: “…she really needs to do more comedies, I had a lot of fun with the film and I highly recommend it.”

If that doesn’t have you running out to get a ticket, you’ll be even more impressed to learn that the actor helped to produce the movie – via her company, Excellent Cadaver.

Seriously, is there anything Jennifer Lawrence can’t do?

No Hard Feelings is out on June 21.
