Bennifer is no more and apparently, Jennifer Lopez is ‘relieved’ that it’s finally over.
It’s been a whopping twenty years since Jenny from the Block and Ben Affleck began their first dating spree, which led to them calling off a postponed 2003 wedding and fully calling it quits in 2004.
But when they started it back up again in 2022 and got married, everyone thought it was forever.
That was, however, until the rumour mill picked up on a lack of wedding ring on Lopez’s finger during her 4th of July celebrations and it was all drama from there.

However, even though it seemed like it could have been a rough ride for the singer and actor, she’s apparently ready to move on after officially filing for divorce last week.
The Atlas actress is supposedly ‘doing as well as she can’ after filing her papers without a lawyer on 20 August, to the day of her two-year wedding anniversary.
A source close to her explained to People: "It's been incredibly difficult for her that Ben chose to pull away from their marriage and move on with his life, leaving her behind.
"She didn't want a divorce. She wanted to figure things out. They love each other. Jennifer is not the type to just give up. It's been almost torture for her to wait around."
But ‘after filing for divorce, she seems relieved,’ they added.
When news of the Hollywood couple's split broke on 21 August, fans finally had answers to the state of the couple’s relationship following several signs of struggle between the two.
A source told the Daily Mail that the pair had 'finalised the divorce papers' a month prior, but were 'waiting for the right time to drop them'.
The source told the publication: "At that time, they will release a joint statement that will say how they have much love for each other and how they fought to make it work, but couldn’t."
According to the divorce docs, Lopez listed their separation date as 26 April, which is well before anyone knew they were over.
But there were signs.
Further court documents obtained by Page Six showed that Lopez confirmed it was 'irreconcilable differences' that ended their marriage.
Affleck even moved out and bought his own home on her birthday, which was a crazy date to do that on.
In June, the actor wasn't in attendance for the premiere of his wife's Netflix movie Atlas in Mexico - where she responded directly to divorce rumours when asked by a reporter, telling them: "You know better than that.”
Then last month, the couple were reported to have put their 12-bedroom, 24-bathroom California mansion on the market for $68,000,000, solidifying claims that they were over.
So, it’s been a wild ride for the pair this second time around, and maybe it’s the last of Bennifer forever.
