Did you feel that? That slight chill in the air and that shiver down you spine? It can only mean one thing: The Sanderson sisters are back.

Yes, Hocus Pocus 2 has finally dropped on Disney+ which means that spooky season has officially begun.

Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy, and Sarah Jessica Parker are reprising their roles Winifred, Sarah, and Mary Sanderson, and they're bringing an exciting star-studded cast along with them. If you haven't seen the trailer yet, where have you been?

The Sanderson Sisters are returning to modern-day Salem, when three young women accidentally summon them.

Now the girls must figure out how to stop the child-hungry witches from wreaking a new kind of havoc on the world. Sound familiar?

When we last saw the terrifying trio, they were accidentally summoned by moody teen Max Dennison on Halloween night.

After chasing Max, his little sister Dani, and his crush Allison all the way through town, luring the children of Salem in an effort to suck out their souls, and performing a fabulous rendition of 'I Put A Spell On You', the Sanderson sisters eventually met their maker when they disintegrated into dust at sunrise.

Now, almost 20 years later, will these new troublemakers be able to put the get rid of the witches just as easily, or will they finally take over Salem once and for all?

Director Anne Fletcher has already assured die-hard fans that there would be just as much outrageous fun and deliciously dark comedy in this sequel as there was in the original 90s classic.

"We should be laughing every day, and there is so much fun to be had with these three unbelievable women playing delicious characters from such a beloved film,” she told The Hollywood Reporter.

"I am so grateful to be able to play a part in bringing these witches back to life, and to be working with my friends at Disney again makes it all the more special. This is a movie for everyone, from the fans who grew up with the first film to the next generation of viewers, and I can’t wait to get started."

As well as the three sisters, Doug Jones will be returning as Billy the Butcher, though OG witch-slayers Max (Omri Katz), Dani (Thora Birch), and Allison (Vinessa Shaw) will not be showing their faces.

But, you can expect to see some new faces like Whitney Peak (Gossip Girl), Hannah Waddingham (Ted Lasso), Tony Hale (Arrested Development), and Sam Richardson (Veep) to be joining the team.
