The New Fantastic Beasts 3 Trailer Is Here

Have your wands at the ready! A new trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets Of Dumbledore has just dropped and it looks positively magical!

Following on from the 2018 film Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald, the third film in the franchise promises to give fans a look into the dark secrets of Albus Dumbledore's past.

Set in the 1930s, Fantastic Beasts 3 sees key figures in the wizarding world respond to World War II, all while Gellert Grindelwald grows more powerful.

A synopsis of the latest film in the Harry Potter spin-off series reads: "Professor Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) knows the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Mads Mikkelsen) is moving to seize control of the wizarding world.

"Unable to stop him alone, he entrusts Magizoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) to lead an intrepid team of wizards, witches and one brave Muggle baker on a dangerous mission, where they encounter old and new beasts and clash with Grindelwald’s growing legion of followers.

"But with the stakes so high, how long can Dumbledore remain on the sidelines?"

Mads is set to take over from Johnny Depp, who portrayed the evil wizard Grindelwald in the previous two Fantastic Beasts films.

Depp had shot just one scene as Grindelwald before he dropped out and Warner Bros. hired Mikkelsen to take over the role for the third film.

The Secrets of Dumbledore also stars Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, Callum Turner, William Nadylam, Poppy Corby-Tuech and Jessica Williams.

Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore will be released on 8th April 2022 in the UK and 15th April 2022 in the US.
