And a final X user added: "I literally don't have the words to explain how excited I am for this show and the trailer is fantastic!"
The series will kick off with Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, which is set to be released on Christmas Day 2026 on HBO and will also be available to stream on HBO Max.
Without giving too much away, the first season will retell Harry’s introduction to the wizarding world.
Providing Potterheads with a blast from the past, it will start with his life with the Dursleys and the mysterious Hogwarts letters he begins to receive before his life as he knows it is changed forever.
Harry's eventual arrival at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry then introduces him to Ron and Hermione.
However, while being introduced to a whirlwind world of wizardry and magic, his first year at Hogwarts also sees him unveil secrets connected to the darkest wizard in the magical world...
