Eagle-eyed Emily In Paris viewers have finally figured out how old the titular character is supposed to be after spotting a fleeting detail in the latest instalment of the hit Netflix series.
The second series of Lily Collins' comedy-drama dropped on the streaming service this week and fans were eager to sink their teeth into the show after last season's dramatic finale.
While many are familiar with her supposed knack for marketing and social media, Emily's age had never officially been disclosed, forcing fans to speculate how old they thought the often-naïve lead character was.

Be warned: Spoilers ahead!
Following the success of season one, Lily Collins gave her own guess as to how old Emily was supposed to be, but left fans rather unsatisfied with her answer.
Speaking to British Vogue last year, Lily said that Emily was presumably "pretty fresh out of college", adding: "I want to say she's like, 22-ish."

Viewers were not having Lily's answer, arguing that it was rather unrealistic to see a 22-year-old be so successful in her career this early on.
Thankfully, it turns out that the series star wasn't even close!
In season two episode three, Emily is taking in the love from her social media followers on her birthday, when some of her notifications pop up on-screen for viewers to see.

One comment reads: "29 years jeune, Happy Birthday @EmilyInParis!"
Although it only appeared for a few seconds, viewers immediately caught it.
So there you have it! Emily has just turned 29 - a fact that should hopefully make viewers feel a little bit better.

While Emily insisted that she wanted to have a small celebration for her so-called "nothing birthday", it turned out to be anything but when Gabriel made a major confession.
