Emily in Paris season two is officially landing on Netflix this Christmas - and we can’t wait!
The hit Netflix comedy series, which was the brainchild of the Sex and the City producers, first landed in December 2020 and fans were obsessed from the get-go. In fact, fans love it so much, they're already looking ahead to season three.
Lily Collins, who stars as Emily, has been teasing fans with behind the scenes sneak-peeks throughout the year - in between posting some of her stunning wedding photos. The star tied the knot in September 2021 with writer-director Charlie McDowell.
So, Lily Collins has found her happily ever after, but can the same be said for her character Emily?
Netflix has dropped the first sneak-peek at the new series in the form of a video postcard from Saint Tropez, where Emily and her gal pals head for a vacation at some point.
Season one saw Emily whisk through several romances, form new friendships, get fired and rehired, and become entangled in a love triangle with her hunky neighbour Gabriel and her new best friend/his girlfriend, Camille.
So, the first question fans want answers to in season two is - does Gabriel choose Emily or Camille?
Emily in Paris season two officially lands on Netflix on 22nd December.
Announcing the release of the sequel, Lily Collins said: “t’s here! Just in time for the holidays - we’re sending you guys a little gift for winter break on December 22! SO much to look forward to…”
An official trailer hasn’t been released yet, but Netflix has shared a first peek at the new series with a teaser clip.
Take a look in the video player below.
Speaking of the latest series, Netflix said: "Now more entrenched in her life in Paris, Emily’s getting better at navigating the city but still struggling with the idiosyncrasies of French life.
"After stumbling into a love triangle with her neighbour and her first real French friend, Emily is determined to focus on her work — which is getting more complicated by the day. In French class, she meets a fellow expat who both infuriates and intrigues her."
Alongside Lily Collins who stars as Emily, we’ll be seeing Ashley Park reprise her role as Emily’s expat bestie Mindy, and Camille Razat who plays Camille.
We're also sure to see Lucas Bravo reprise his role as Gabriel and other key characters such as Sylvie (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu), Luc (Bruno Gouery), Julien (Samuel Arnold), and Antoine (William Abadie) return in the second season.
