People are just finding out what happens when you shake an iPhone - and we’re wondering where they’ve been all these years!

Apple has a slew of hidden features in their line of smartphones, including a texting trick and even a secret button.

But in recent moments, some people have been thrown off guard by what happens when you give your phone a shake.

Spoiler alert: you can undo and redo whatever you’ve typed onto your iPhone just with the flick of a wrist.

And to redo the function, simply shake your iPhone like a Polaroid picture once more.

To some people, even recently, this feature has been a revelation: “On the iPhone, you can shake to undo things that you type, and I just think that is the bee's knees!”

“Not me not even knowing something happens when you shake your iPhone,” another admitted.

“Accidentally erase something you just typed on your iPhone? To undo that, just shake it.

Another asked: “Why do I have to shake my iPhone to undo things?”

Someone else tweeted about the hack: “Who are you people and where has this information been all my life?”

The video saw Made In Chelsea’s Jamie Laing discovering ‘a pointless iPhone hack’, where he texted the words ‘pew pew’ and was greeted with a surprise on his phone screen.

Jamie demonstrated the hack, saying: “New trick on the iPhone if you send a text message to someone on text message, look what happens, look at this!” Read more on that here.
